If you want to do human detection via multiple cameras, use a Google Coral TPU with Frigate setup. Far higher frame processing than a video card for the cost/performance you get.

You’re just creating another “smart” overhaul. Here is what I did during house reconstruction. Use classic light switches and outlets. They’re working for centuries. Wire up everything you can, no wireless laziness. Limit wireless only to portable devices.
