14:55 a softmodded ps3 slim can run PS2 games from disc, iirc it does so by using the PS2 CPU it still has and emulating the PS2 GPU it doesn't, this has (in my experience) equivalent and sometimes BETTER performance than running on an actual PS2! and outputs natively over HDMI!

I’ve been gaming only on PS since I started gaming properly. I sold my PS5 and let go of PlayStation forever once they changed their home screen to show more and more info related to whatever… PC for life now tho I Microsoft is meh.
