6:36 feels like the power supply should be inset a bit to allow the desk to sit against a wall.
Well the think i'm wondering is why just not use the upgradeable frame work gpu where you put it with the cooling

If you are going to bring in your cables then consider doing a series of 10-20 episodes of various scope and scale of cable management, issues, combination of solutions, patience.
for example I have a very modest Home Recording studio/Office, Home Theater/Gaming setup.
Guitar Cables, Guitar cabinet speaker cables, Mic cables, Speaker Monitor cables, outboard gear cables, mixer cables, midi controller cables, power cables, guitar pedal cables.
Extend the Same for HTPC + NAS combo and a 7.2 setup, recliners etc.
I am not looking for an ultra clean setup, happy for the “cables to show and look technical enough” Cable mgmt 😅 and ways to cut down on effort spent.
This channel needs to be the shining beacon for Cable Mgmt.

I really hope you guys actually revisit the project and make use of the interface of the framework directly, and make justice of that amazing slim profile of the motherboard with a flatter power supply and perhaps a water-cooled graphics card to achieve a truly imperceptible setup, but nice attempt!

Minisforum does a slim gaming PC from laptop parts.
Ruined the desk by cutting into it. This is the ugliest mod I have seen in years.
A project like this would be good for an HTPC or a dorm setup where space is limited.
