Awesome Tips WORLD’S FIRST SPLIT HE GAMING KEYBOARD
SORRY I CAN’T TURN OFF CAPSLOCK…
nvm fixed it… In this video we check out the brand new ASUS ROG FALCATA! The worlds first pre-built HE gaming keyboard! ASUS ROG’s last HE keyboard release was the FALCHION, a keyboard that was pretty good, but had a really annoying touch bar on the top… This time they decided to split the keyboard in half! What will these guys think of next? Also why not split the keyboard horizontaly?

How's the wireless performance, most wireless he keebs don't work properly
will you review keris 2 origin?
LMFAO $360 for this?
that FF IX sound when you added the wrist rest and feet; had to replay it twice lol
Split ergos, especially those you can shift around one half at a time, are really nice for posture!
Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 was perfection.
When is this actually releasing?
I used a UHK 60 for gaming for a long time and really liked the split functionality. With a 3XL mousepad and long arms it really clears up the desk for more mouse movement. Currently using the Wooting 60HE+, but have been hoping something split and HE comes out. This is awesome!
It's ridiculous in price, but for now, it's the best keyboard for FPS. A one-handed keyboard maximizes mouse space, allowing for a new aiming style. You'll soon need an 800X800 mouse pad. I see some downsides, can the keyboard work perfectly wirelessly? If you can't extract the best performance wirelessly and have to go wired, short USB cable connecting the two keyboards can make you uncomfortable.
As someone who's used a split keyboard for years, I cannot imagine using a split keyboard without an ortholinear layout.
Awesome video man. Love ur content.
Honestly, I want to see a split he keyboard that maybe has both sides extended by a row. As in both sides have a copy of b and y and such. I feel like all split keyboards should do this as it allows people to crossover more often.
3:23 had a desk with this tray style for a long time as a kid, the keyboard wwnt on the tray, the mouse on the tabletop… tbh, ive been meaning to revisit this, as to better center both my kb and my mouse
2:07 can i run the wasd side only?
Nice vid mate
These dickheads released yet another split keyboard without the standard bottom row (1.25u/2.25u/2.75u), removing this keyboard's abilities to take standard keycap sets (which it would otherwise fit, except for the nonstandard left split spacebar they've gone with here) and to be used with Mac (as there's no cmd key position)
That's simply too much to pay for a kb. sorry.
Is there an analog control mode that changes the keyboard into a controller?
Great review!
I can't type for shit on split keyboards because I cross over sides with my hands too much, similar to what you mentioned with B and Y but to a larger extent. I am really glad to hear they are moving to a web based software, Armory Crate is straight trash, it's the only software I've used that makes Razer's Synapse look good. I like your idea of a trimmed down version without the split and wired, if it brought the price down closer to Wooting's offerings it would be more palatable for most gamers imo.
I mean the qk alice duo is insane and it's 8khz wired and wireless buttt not hall effect but I mean 0.3ms latency. But I mean if they came out with a he version.
this was boutta be my side project this year lmao
too bad the spacebar size is non standard so good luck replacing keycaps
That price is unreal.
The fact that it's tilted shows Asus put a lot of thought into the hardware design.
The only niche this product fills is the rich-max-consumerism-I-have-nothing-to-do-with-my-money niche. 🤣
highk useless product
the fuck are we supposed to put in the middle?
best PINK mouse on the market right now?
Gotta give Asus some props here. This is definitely a unique product and not just another recycled 75 HE board like everyone else releases.
I want more brands to dig into this
That’s a Joke of a price I can afford it but wouldn’t pay that much out of principle I enjoy trying out new tech but at that price you can keep it asus. Brands like asus and razor just over price everything and half the time don’t even have the quality to back it up.
I blame razer for putting bullshit om the right hand of the keyboard. Knobs and rollers should be on the left! I hope every company do this
Ahh yes, the "money can't buy happiness" situation.
Why dont thwy make an HE keyb that has everything on the right side of the enter key moved to the left side. That would make a full sized keyb feel like a 60%
Sometimes a good idea is enough to move the industry forward. Even if the first versions of the product won’t be as polished or “perfect” for this or that reason, there’ll be more versions from a lot of other brands too that will improve over time. Can’t wait for the split kb to be more popular thanks to this!
