When I build my first PC completely myself (using parts from my old pc as well), I was at a point where there was no return. 😅 Then I looked at my new PC, cables hanging out on the back side everywhere, waiting to be connected, and I thought to myself.. "No return now but.. Somehow.. this looks right." And everything took a while to finish but at the end it started. I was so proud and relieved. 😊
Additional upside esp if your still relatively new to it is just the knowledge and experience you add to what you know
Option 3, have a trusted friend build it for you
Pro: Building one feels good. Con: You could become addicted and end up building one each year.
I built my last two pcs and although it teaches you alot, id never do it again.
It can be incredibly frustrating at times and second guessing if uve done it right etc.
I'd rather just pay the small extra fee for the company i buy from to put it all together for me and save me the hassle.
That being said, if u knew to it, please try it out and enjoy the process. Can always decide next time whats best.
You feel accomplished when you build your first PC and feel like you wanted to do it again
Build yourself. Its way more satisfying and you will appreciate your pc way more. I just finished building my second pc ever and this time it took way less time then the first time and its fun to do as well.
Build. Next
Forgot about the 2 other issues with pre built
1) corner cutting on components
2) pre built are for thin bloods
Build. Or you'll end up with the tat the seller wanted to get rid of so stuffed into your pre-built.
Do your research.
I bought a prebuild pc.Faster, easier, safer!
Build! Totally recommend it even if you dont know angthing about computers ! You learn so much
I’m thinking about building a PC any extra tips?
I spent 3k on a 5080 9800x3d from over clockers ..does the job at 1440p .
Such a difficult question if you live in the UK sadly. I won’t bring politics into the comments section but yeah I spent £6000 on a 5090 custom PC and now everything is pretty much limited👍
