I also found that camera behavior when using the back camera for group selfie. Notice that on the z fold 5 and same here on the z fold 7. I initially saw that when I use the previous xiaomi mi 11 ultra when using the secondary back screen and the main camera.
I absolutely love my Z Fold 7! They have finally given us what we have been asking for! I don't miss the S pen because i manly used it to take pictures on my Note 8 and Note 20, sence Samsung took the Bluetooth features away from the S pen, it will be useless for me.
Your views on the rear camera selfie with cover screen preview, where only the nearest subject is in focus, is spot on 👌 I am finding this same issue. It appears to me that samsung hasn't implemented multi point focus mode in the rear camera in selfie mode. This is very important for group selfies. I hope they fix this via software update.

The fold is an ideal device for note taking. Lack of S pen support is a plunder in my opinion. Given the price is normal people pay with our hard earned money there should be zero compromise at this price bracket!

One though that annoys me with the Z Fold 7 is; why does it on have 2 speakers? I feel having 4 would be better, because if you are watching a video in book style (inner selfie camera at the top right): the sound is only on the left, it throws my hearing off, so I have to turn it so the speakers are at the top of the phone (top left and top right): it may just be me, but does anyone else have that issue?
For me the Z fold 7 gets me through the day, im happy about it!

You are paying more for the hinge and the flexible display and not for the cameras. Samsung never positioned it as their best hence, why we have an Ultra. That's simple to understand. Its not named Fold 7 pro/ultra after all.😅😅

I have never set my phone down naked like that. I always have them in cases so wooble has never been an issue. I habitually use the inner screen because I have been using folds since the 3. I do notice i am using the front more for texting and calls.
Still not a flagship. Still not an Ultra Fold. FOLD is missing 5x optical zoom and S-Pen. S25-ULTRA is more of a complete phone with a complete camera setup. Better battery along with a S-Pen and the Ultra is titanium built. S25 ultra is still King in 2025.

I rock my Blue Shadow Galaxy Z Fold 7 with the official Samsung blue Silicone Case. It looks great. It's just a shame that it's just half a case. I wish it came with a front panel too to protect the screen.

Tech 21 evo clear case. Well priced, keeps device thin, magnet, wireless charge and being clear the phone's colour shows nicely.
Taking away the s-pen kills the work aspect of the Fold 7 for me. That's why I was considering switching from the S to the Z series, but not now.
The IP rating is mediocre. Run it under a water tap 3 times and see how it performs.
I love this phone. As a carsalesman I'm always on the phone. Posting videos,making calls me emailing all day, and I watch a lot of YouTube videos. My only issue is getting a whole day battery life. I can go from for at least 6 hours as a heavy user, but other than battery life I love this phone, and everyone that's around me likes it too
