Amazing Products TV Everything is Falling Apart

Comments

  1. what's your tech hot take?

  2. YouTube adds are out of control. I'm blocking everything

  3. Cutting the ads out of a newspaper isn't piracy. Muting the TV while the ads are running isn't piracy. Skipping the sponsor segments isn't piracy. And so is adblocker cutting parts of a webpage out not piracy.

  4. The problem with ads is they block my interferance with website or video that i am watching. If they put it on the corner or if it doesnt interapt my exprience its no problem

  5. I'll stop blocking ads when companies stop selling my personal information and bombarding me with an unpalatable amount of scammy ads. I do not feel sorry at all for the poor mega-corps that pay less tax (%) than the average worker (e.g. Google).

  6. ads are not the problem but ads interrupting your main content/product is very much a problem

  7. True playstation/Xbox is more a PC today than a console.
RGB is pointless and a waste of money…
There exists a big game library of amazing games.

  8. Lot of people suddenly don't like being called pirates for some reason lol.

  9. Games were not better long ago. Actually a lot of them were janky and terrible. People just look back with nostalgia and only remember the good games. Even with good games they don't remember things like horrible control schemes, bizarre camera angles, or how good everything actually looked.

  10. Most Ads these days are not meant to promote the products. They are meant to annoy you on purpose so that you buy premium subscription.

  11. All of them are so true

  12. If the ads don't cover the entire webpage or open a new tab when I click on the page, I usually turn off my adblocker.
But as long as the ads are intrusive, I'll keep using adblock.

  13. We have a similar problem with RGB in the car scene, it's called underglow basically RGB under the car and it's ugly, like Pontiac Aztec and Fiat Multipla ugly.

  14. Trust Zac to always be a snob

  15. Just watch a single clip without premium or adblock, just one clip, 100 ads per second, only rich people consider that

  16. One of personal tech hot take:
LCD/IPS Panel still better than OLED in terms of keeping the static visuals in a long time.

  17. Tech Joyce????

  18. If sites had like 1-2 ads on a page I wouldn’t be mad, it’s the sites with 4 ads + a video ad with sound on that plays automatically that makes me use ad block.

  19. I found an way to pirate stuff
    Im gonna use it

  20. 🏴‍☠️

  21. I actually agree with NOAB but I also understand why people use the tier list as a reference, it gives you a bit of a sense for the quality of the PSU you're buying compared to other options even though it can be a PSU that will last for a long time.

  22. I paid for my phone. Doesn't Google charger like $40 for the OEM to have a license? And if YT puts ads in the middle of a sentence or worse in the middle of a chord progression, I'm not going to take kindly to that. So, Linus, since I paid my OEM to pay Google, I shouldn't be seeing ads, therefore an AdBlocker is not remotely like privacy.

  23. Instructions unclear: just joined a ship with a straw hat captain on the way to find the one piece

  24. If my internet returns to pre youtube madness, I am deleting my adblocker. Otherwise, ads are out of control and I need to maintain my sanity, Some websites make half the screen ads. And youtube have been doing at least 5 ads on a 10 minute video for a while. It's almost getting as bad as satellite TV.

  25. “If someone said RGB doesn’t do anything, they just not have enough RGB”

  26. Do I have to 'own' every single website that is filled with annoying ads??

  27. By "own it" he means own the tracking and legal unethical tactics they use to make money of you (not ads).
Oh and also own the potential risk of malware.

It's not about avoiding ads for me, it's about being safe and not bending my knee to tracking…

  28. Tech joice wow

  29. My hot take is: if you don't buy, you do not have the right to play. It doesn't matter if buying is not owning. You are a thief. And people should be able steal from you without any consequences.

  30. PSU tier list is incredibly outdated anyway. Most people will be fine grabbing any PSU from a respected brand

  31. Zach is 100% right. FPS aren't worth much if you are watching them on a shitty display.

  32. aye i am a pirate, i havent paid for movie or show close to 20 years now. what are you gonna do? tell the police? wigga please, this aint a real crime.

  33. Just pay for YouTube Premium. It's not even bad

  34. Adblock is essential internet kit. You rly cant browse the web efficiently without it.
