Time for projects with multiple people working on it should be calculated by man-hours. I.e. you take the total number of hours each person worked on it and add them all together, like if one person spent 8 hours on it and another person spent 4 hours on it, then the project took 12 man-hours.
One thing LTT could do in this lower views period is do evergreen content that is more education than entertainment. I'd love to watch labs grow more into the content pipeline by educating the audience about build quality vs specs vs price, or you could just focus less on the views because it's an old channel and focus more on the colabs(get it?) with smaller, niche channels so the audience that watches the small channel exclusively goes to LTT and the LTT audience boosts the small channel in the short term. I think it's a good compromise for this slower period
I really need help with my PC. Problem: When I turn on the computer, sometimes the screen stays black and I hear 5 beeps. I have to unplug and plug the power several times until it finally starts. What I tried: Reconnecting the cables, changing the HDMI cable and monitor, cleaning the RAM, but the issue is still there.
Bro I don't know the hourly wage in BC Canada BC
There is no way it takes 27hours on average to edit a 20 min video
nobody gonna talk about the Jumbo Indomie Mie Goreng that fueled the editing staff?
what?? you spent 60 hours on this 1 minute??
This short has a sponsor
short answer: way too much
Impressive that they even get an ad fitted into shorts rofl.
With the question i expect a $ amount not a hour amaount.
My favorite part about this is the on site assistant lmao.
They’re no way it takes that long to make these crappy videos. Your staff must be extremely lazy
Good that you named some numbers instead of just workhours
You never gave a straight answer! Drain the swamp!

only linus can manage to include a sponsor in a youtube short
I can tell you – personally I spend $0 on your videos.
Slick, unmentioned, segue to the sponsor
around: 350,000-500,000 dollars per EP
He said "how much do you spend", Linus interpreted that in terms of time, so he technically did answer the question
Basically, go figure!
Wow, I did not expect an ad on a video about production.
Again clicked seeing Linus's face and they did it again
I tend to tell clients that filming and editing ends up around 2-3hrs of work for every minute of final video… so this checks out!

It must be much more lax compared to the 1 upload/day schedule pre-Gamers Nexus debacle.
WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS BEARD
I like the part where they answer the question that they used to get clicks. Almost like that makes this classic clickbait.
At my hourly rate thats around $3,000 USD.
Still finds a way to segway into their sponsorXDDD
