Had one for about a year now, endless problems. Currently heavily upgrading for more consistent results. This machine is basically a CTRL+V of 4 smaller printers in a big frame, which doesn't work out great
Too bad that the QC sucked ass when it came out, I can only hope that it has gotten better by now

So about my calculations, in about 5 years, billionaires will be putting them in their homes if they build for the upper class and in about 15 years, maybe 20 years, the normal person will have something like this built into their garage right? Kind of like the vacuum cleaner which they're already starting to put in, like every new home

I don’t think we need more plastic bullshit stuff.
I have one of those wiggly chairs but made out of cardboard. Nabbed it on the last day of Pack Expo from some guys selling custom cardboard boxes. It was either the dumpster or my garage.
A big reason it seems so cheap is that 3d printers are actually really easy to make big, its just a larger frame, the main thing you're paying for are the electronics and the printer head
I mean the only difference hardware wise is the bigger frame a belts other than that it is a basic 3D printer.
The problem is that is calibration that thing will be a nightmare to calibrate.
Oh right the heated bed is also needed to be scaled but all in all the price is not surprising
