I wanted to upgrade my ASUS RoG Strix 2070 that I got on launch for a 5070 ti of the same lineā¦ that shit wouldve cost me 1.7k CAD so I just got a 9070 XT for 1k flatā¦ the issue is I havenāt had an AMD GPU since my ASUS RoG Strix RX 480ā¦ and somehow I still have the Adrenalin software š¢

After years of struggling with amd's trashcan software adrenalin,that doesnt launch half the time and goves constant issues in games. I am moving to nvidia and i cannot wait. Already ordered my card

Nvidia is better . AI training, Work, Video editing, 3d modeling, Games. but I hope amd get better as so as other GPU startups than nvidia
Went for Nvidia but not because itās ābetterā, it just got more recommendations for learning ue5 and blender
The card industry price wise and competition wise is the worst its ever been. Amd's top of the line gpu should at least be on par with a 5080 instead of being worse than a 5070. And graphics cards costing someones monthly rent in new york whilst not being able to run a game like borderlands 4 properly is the reason why i think the card industry is also one of the most underrated scams to date.
Amd's adrenaline software is far superior to the nvidia app. Under volting and over clocking is easily done through the amd adrenaline software but it is nowhere to be seen in the nvidia app not to mention the driver issues that the 50 series has caused for 30 and 40 series cards.
5090 and call it a day
Nvidia is smart why have super cards if they are not gonna have the best features from a business perspective they are right for doing what they are doing the consumers are stupid you know by now Nvidia has super line ups those are the ones that gets the most amount of vram AMD is just not everyones choice Nvidia is generally better wether some of you like it or not Nvidia is a great business that's why they are where they are today stop coping just admit it
Screw those prices and msrp bullshit. My amd580 still runs games on 1080p and I bought that thing for 170 euros.

Fsr4 is amazing and amd redstone aint even out yet. Along with amd going into the Playstation and Xbox the future is quite bright.
i have RTX5090 and i never ask myself if AMD was a better option.š
My problem is I only play one vr game and it has easy anticheat and no DLSS/FFSR so I can only run on native & if I wanna run at my headsets 90HZ/120HZ rate then I need a minimum of a 4080,4090,5080,5090,7900XTX 16gb+
I was in the market for either a 5070ti or 9070ti earlier this year for my first PC build. Was leaning towards the AMD card as apparently it was going to be cheaper and more readily available than the Nvidia card but low and behold when AMD released them the initial day those cards were sold for MSRP and after that the difference was only about 50ā¬ and there was actually stock of the 5070tiās at MSRP and for that price difference Iām going to get the Nvidia card. Now prices have come down on the 9070xt so I would probably recommend that if you are on a budget but I donāt regret getting my 5070ti itās been a good card so far
I am building a new pc, with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D which I will primarily use to play counter strike 2 on a 1080p 280hz monitor. I don't plan on playing any other games as I just play cs2 on a pretty high competitive level. What GPU would you suggest between 5060 TI & RX 9060 XT? Thank you for any advice!

Definitely RTX; it's not even a close comparison. RTX support in games is phenomenal and FSR4 sure the F isn't DLSS4. You'd have to drop down to DLSS Performance to match the image quality of FSR4 "quality". That's Crazy!

Price and what you play, if you want path tracing Nvidia is your only real option be it the 5070 or to if you're happy with RT then best bang for buck presently is the 9070xt
I personally went for the 5070 as play lots of cyberpunk and path tracing was a must and it was the first of the 3 to remotely get near msrp here in the UK at time of purchase the xt was Ā£200 over MSRP and the TI 300-350 over. Heck even now the XT has just got to MSRP the TI still isn't there yet
Kardeun is going to absolutely blow up
still here with my 6800xt which you can pick up for Ā£270 now and if you aint arsed about FSR or raytracing and like to run games at raw native resolution the 6800xt is still the king
Both. Have a 5060 TI 16GB on the living room computer and a 9070 on my personal PC. Both cards work great. The 9070 has more performance of those.
I current have a 9070xt Nitro+ in box since release day but for some reason not in a rush to fit it, currently running 3070ti

Went with a 9070 XT and wasnāt sure what to expect having been an NVIDIA user for decades but was surprised. Best feature – shader compilation that doesnāt crash and games that load reliably. No idea why NVIDIA drivers have been so bad for so long but it ruins gaming.
Just buy rtx5070ti at 801 us dollar. for 4k 60fps gaming just upgrade from rx6600 dose my cpu will bottleneck my gpu? Currently using i5 13400f š¢ no more money to buy another parts šš
I was one of those that upgraded to a 5000 series nvidia as I wanted mfg. I had a 4080 super before but if I wanted to play doom dark ages with path tracing at 4k my fps was dropping to 45fps in demanding scenes even with dlss turned on and 2x frame gen.
The 5080 gave me about 10% boost in performance all round meaning im now getting a minimum of 90fps with 3x frame gen and even at 2x frame gen i can get 60fps.
It cost me Ā£300 as I sold my old card and found a good 2nd deal on the 5080
I think it's quite simple. If you want the best performance you can get, buy an Nvidia 5080 or 5090. If you want the best performance you can get within a certain budget, buy the best AMD card you can afford.
