Agreed, Teams is garbage. Whenever we get to attend Google Meets it's such a break from all the hassle. It just works and it always put the meeting in the centre. No vertical phone frames with half of everyone's faces, presentations always work and the shortcuts make sense. Video quality is also best on Google Meet.

The drive mode thing might be an EPA range rating thing. The testing has to be in key up mode or the way the car starts up automatically without changing any settings so a lot of EVs will try to default to the most efficient mode so the EPA range estimate is the highest they can get.

5 years ago I bought 850 dollars of Amazon gift cards from a local gas station for donating to my friends school in the Philippines for her students to get 2 VR Occulus headsets. As soon as she loaded them into her account Amazon shut her account down and seized the money claiming there was fraud. We sent the receipts to them and tried many times to get the account unblocked. Never got it resolved. Please help me get the money back with interest, Linus!
I have the same problem with teams and my OLED monitor so I switched off the task bar on my OLED and made it second monitor only. Annoyingly windows fights having the task bar on the second monitor so they will randomly switch it back to the primary monitor. Annoying AF

They need rentable battery packs that you can hotswap in the frunk, for EV road trips. That could also be a solution for battery degradation if they just made the battery hotswappable. I can think of easy ways to swap the battery if they just made it a discreet 'box' on the bottom. But it sucks how we as a civilization have no incentive to make something efficient or cheap 😢
