mistake no.1 going to an NZXT mobo, mistake no.2 4 ram sticks on AMD.. how long does it take for that pc to boot ?
The 5600MT/s CL40 ram is a poor choice. You're missing out on some performance that's not easy to lose.
you hate it? I don't! (pls give)
awesome build! love to see it
that shirt looks really cozy
You can use the LIAN LI Strimer Plus V2 Wireless ARGB 12+4-Pin Wide GPU Extension Cable , just for aesthetic look
How is your 9950x3D idling at 36c ?? I have the same aio & same cpu but mine idles at 45c.
Do the benchmarks. But like showing the process.
Frank with the "yeah, no shit" video title
Let's gooooo
Why didn't you use the single 12vhpwr cable for the GPU? Instead you used 4 pcie cables and the adaptor? It would look cleaner with just that one cable. You can also get a white extension version to match the aesthetic of the build.
congrats man, hopefully everything works fine in this new build
Before anyone says anything, I get it — it’s cool to see a $6,000 gaming computer, and that kind of content has its place. That’s why some channels exist in the first place, to go all out and do the crazy builds most of us will never touch. But here’s the thing: this channel used to feel different. It felt accessible, like it was made for regular gamers and tech fans who wanted to learn, tweak, or build without needing a lottery win. Now it feels like it crossed a line into showing off. And in a time when parts are already overpriced, tariffs are adding even more, and people are just trying to keep up, that shift stings. It’s not that the build itself isn’t impressive — it’s that the vibe went from “we’re in this together” to “look what I’ve got and you don’t.” So the obvious question is, how long before audiences stop seeing that as inspiration and start seeing it as pure flex?
beauty
6 intake 3 exhaust… you really could add 2 more exhaust out the back to reduce the fan-curve and lower the pressure a bit… not sure if the back is open (from the short time i saw the back it is) but it helps "lighten the load" of your cpu heatsink and better direct the airflow from bottom-right to top-left over your gpu and all the heatcovers… just a small nerdy inzision
Mr.Beast gaming PC?
Cool video but man I would've thought $6000 could buy some reverse blade fans
DOES Asus make the strongest version of the 5090 or something? im trying to get one from a 1060 so idk really
I'm really loving that motherboard. The locking clips for the nvme drives are the icing on the cake. Congrats Frank!
I thought AMD struggled with a 4 channel memory setup?
Wanna sell the old one frank?i got 200$
shouldve went with another color other than white to make it look and feel different.
Imagine paying 6000$ for Microsoft to spy on you. Also, imagine putting a fan on using double-sided tape when rubber case fan screws would've done the job.
The build is actually 100$ and the rest of 5900$+ 2 kidneys is on the 5090 🤣
I'm so offended/angry/triggered by this video.
I think.
I mean, other comments are – so I should be too, right?
/s
Kidding obviously. Awesome build – glad it's working out well for you 🙂
Nice looking case for sure love the MB. My build was $7500. I may have to get this case
I bet you could run Borderlands 4 on medium graphics on that thing.
I know it gets a bad rep but this would look even sicker with a lian li hydroshift
Sexy as fu** build! Would love to see some benchies to see what she can do 😉
Also I wondered why his rig cost 1K more than my custom loop rig with all the same components and it's because he paid 1300 over MSRP for a 5090, I mean I guess it's OCed.
Last (and Current) Gen Intel such an incredible disaster that a man feels like his 4K rig is insufficient just one generation later.
Really glad our government has a stake in that company I guess
Looks great looking to make an upgrade soon myself. For those stuck on his comments about the challenges of his prior PC, it was a lemon just like you could buy a 40k vehicle that caused so many problems that you got a 60k vehicle years later and both enjoy the upgrade and the stability of it just working.
Awesome build. Yes, benchmarks please.
Great build! I like seeing different components used in builds, lots of the same builds on youtube. Especially when it comes to all white builds. Like the case design and the motherboard looks good too!
Great build video. Inspiring me to jump over to team red next build.
Love the build! I'm looking at getting the 5080 version of the card. Just not sure if it is more beneficial to save and get the 5090 version. I'm getting the case and some different fans so that I don't have to have a million different applications for my RGB that will stay at a constant color.
Set your v core to 1.1v your mc to 1.2v and your vddp to 1v if you want your cpu to last, it’s like these companies wants to kill your hardware
How much do you think you could have saved without the "white tax"? I'm curious. Not a white build hater by any means…. but in terms of cost, I'd stick to a tasteful black build to save some $$
6k well spent I’d say 🤔
Clean looking PC! Love it!
Sad to see how custom pc building has died down so much just because everything got so expensive and normal people can no longer achieve it. Im still stuck on my ryzen 5 2600 and rx580 i got back in 2019 because i just cant justify building a new pc with the current prices, and i dont trust buying second hand components. Sick build regardless, no hate
People who comment negative shit on something that's not even negative in the video are hilarious. Like you're just helping him out with the engagement. At the end of the day, he wins while you're sad and shitty in your own life 🤣😂. Great video again Frank 🫡
That white 5090 Astral is sick but it's SOOOOO expensive. Once upon a time I could afford to buy the flagship. Those were good times.
I got lucky with my 13900k but i think the fix i uknowly did was delidding it and putting it on liquid metal. That fixed the temp problem and i have one of the known problem ones with 0 issues. For anyone who still has one id consider doing that but understand if you wouldn't want to mess with the cpu
