6:55 So just a small place, only 30 or 40 hectares of land with a correspondingly small house ( something to make those hollywood types green with envy ).
from scatch?
I think I would want the home reno vids to be on a separate channel. It would give you much more flexibility in what you could upload, and find a new HGTV esque audience.
Seems like a step towards Linus town
0:10 it’s really not that funny
For HVAC and IAQ (indoor air quality), you gotta do a collab with Home Performance (Corbett Lunsford). He's a small youtuber but his depth of knowledge is astounding and what he has to say needs to be heard by more people.
Why not buy outside of Canada like in the USA? Or do it in a smaller market? Want to buy my house? Lol Getting tired of middle TN. Lol… 3500sf, nice neighborhood, small yard, 650,000ish-700,000ish.
The house reno should be an own channel with overlap to the main ltt channel. Then the flooring wouldn't be out of place and I as a first time home owner and tekkie would really be into it.
why not redo a fans house with tech?

Is the beard coming back? I'm confused.
Happy, but confused
I personally think that affirm is a little bit better than a credit card. For some payments because you actually know what the end date is, It doesn't go on indefinitely like a credit card can, you actually see what the interest will be for it and if you pay it off early you don't pay all the interest. And going against what he was saying. I feel like most people do not pay off their credit cards at the end of the month. It's just a continuous paying interest on the same payment because they're only making the minimum payment. Compared to affirm who has their payment structured to where it actually has an end date. But ideally you would pay for cash for most of these items and not use these services at all.
I watch a lot of home reno stuff and a lot of $5000 tech upgrade; I would watch both types of content, and I think its really important to educate people from our generation on how things are done. A lot of things go from outlandishly expensive to feasible if you can dedicate a weekend to it and have the knowledge, like installing new laminate floors. I would absolutely watch the cabinet drying thing if you show whether it actually worked. I think it might, you just have to think about it like you are getting rid of the humidity in the cabinet, and its not a big deal if some moisture gets on the wood as long as it has time to dry. /walloftext
This would be a large and long series 609 GORE AVENUE Vancouver, British Columbia V6A3W5
Might be a bit expensive…
Today on WAN: c*mmie bears, something something Gaping….. and now to a word from our sponsors!
I would love if LTT could do a housing project for people in need. Maybe smart tiny houses? This project sounds cool but concerned about who's going to end up with it.
Regarding the kitchen cabinets, you mentioned open/close sensors. Could you "gamify" this by recording the number of open/close actions, durations doors were left open etc and show that on a small screen in the kitchen somewhere. Still not a great idea really but thought I'd throw it out there.
WHALE LAN was awesome! Looking forward to more!
Linus DIY Tips has a nice ring to it. And bonus, you aren't limiting yourselves to a house. And furthermore you have a pool of employees who might be interested in DIY topics so they can be brought onto a video as a guest and the host walks them through the DIY. I can see DIY being a huge crossover in your favor, given how many PC enthusiasts have built their computers and went through the process of educating themselves.
