Just bought the 240hz version so same thing nearly, you will definitely not reach 500hz unless you use frame gen and and then you are stuck with input lag

Very nice monitor. I actually just bought the Samsung Odyssey OLED G60SF which has the same specs. Now I just need a GPU to pair with it. Still rocking a 6750 XT. Is MSI selling that case for the pre-built separate because I really like the design?!

Ultrawide is bullshit. Go and play old games and see how that works out even with fan made mods. Most new games don’t support Ultrawide either. 16:9 is king and always will be.

Any review loses credibility if the manufacturer is sponsoring it, otherwise it just becomes an extension of their own marketing. A true review needs to be unbiased.

You know why they now add screens on everything, even like a fridge and stuff. Because they will try to get people used to it and in the future (and they already mentioned this), they will show you ads on it. Futhermore they have too many shitty screens nobody knows what to do with, so they slap it on stuff nobody needs it and then charge a premium.
Gloss panel…what fail. Who actually likes those and thinks a screen that make it harder to see what's on it is a great idea. People are so stupid
for image quality buy a tv for hz a monitor i realy wish tvs go to 500hz one day id love to have a oled tv for all my gaming got the lg c4 it looks great in my dark room. can't wait for micro led or something like that to come down in price. qdel looks neat too.

As a 240hz OLED owner I was actually pleasantly surprised how good even the 120Hz looked on the UFO test def. won't need to upgrade to something like this anytime soon especially considering the state of the graphics card market. Still impressive to see the tech being pushed and pushed.

At some point these 'billion' mhz monitors becomes a 'diminishing' return…..
I highly doubt anyone on this planet can tell or see the benefits and difference between a 300mhz and 500mhz monitor in real time if playing a game.
It's the same with 4K TV's,camera's megapixels and pictures(photos).
At some point,the human eye can't see or tell the differences past certain higher points.
The 'said' product will just be expensive without you benefiting from it.
This is all about some scientific research that I did and my opinion of course 😊.

Back in the day, I played BF3 on a 17" 1024 x 768 lcd that had a 30hz refresh rate. It was the first non crt monitor I ever had. New technology is good.
