I completely agree that the new wrist rests are awful, thus I'm still not upgrading my Huntsman V2 even with my broken sound control button.

and it will break down or die after less than a year like all Razer products, they need to offer a 2 year up front warranty on these things, had 4 razer keyboards over the course of 2.5 years where as my Corsair K100RGB keyboard is almost 4 years old now all i have done is replace the key caps.

Also razer: we made huntsman v3 pro tkl / mini with 1k polling rate
If u want 8k from last gen just pay for a plastic keyboard with no modding
We can lube our ass better as well, to shove that plastic wristrest in to make it dispappear. Still looking around for a good TKL keyboard, but there is always something that i don't like / is missing / is wrong with it.
Im curious about the "Mchose Ace68 Turbo" that has been announced recently sporting a 16k polling rate. I have used their Jet75 and it was imo a solid keyboard but as for real world latency i have no testing hardware for it to compare it with other HE options.
And im not a fan of not having multiple switch options and hot swap, there is imo no reason to not have that on a keyboard in 2025.

I tried upgrading from Huntsman v2 and I have to return the v3. Horrible wristrest, ny hands were hurting me in comparison with v2. Some switches are not customizable and they actuate on touch. If I remember these were windows buttons and such, making it impossible to use.

You should try DUCKY One X that keyboard is absolutely amazing.
8k polling doesn't make sense to me as it results in higher CPU usage: if you play so competitively that you can notice the difference from 1k to 8k, then you can likely notice the drop in performance due to it eating up CPU resources.
