I'm glad our backyard is finally done! Do you guys have any other tech in your backyard? I'd love to keep adding to mine…
Oh I did not know I could use the ring contact sensor for Alexa routines. I wonder if my older gen does that
Amazing ! you did a great job
👍👍
Looks awesome
Are you able to dim the string lights
Good lord that's a horror fest without nature. Nothing smart about that yard. With the environmental disaster destroying the planet everyone should be conscious of the fact that bare yards like yours do absolutely nothing to help the planet.
Are the Eufy cameras z-wave?
Hi im the 200 th comment
If you are a little savvy with wiring and tinkering around you can replace your batteries on the echo battery pack if it ever dies completely . Or if you want to make some interchangeable battery packs, which is also super simple. All it uses is 4 18650 lithium ion batteries. I modified mine to use 8 in total making it last basically twice as long at loud volumes and about 3 times longer at around 50% volume

ok…saw your Az flag shirt (best damn State flag) and now that I see your block wall, stucco house…. yea… you're in AZ huh. lol.
Do you have a video on a light that turns on with a door sensor but does not have a light switch, I want to get away from the pull string light and automate it.
I have a smart valve switch on my natural gas to outside kitchen and fireplace that turns off two hours after turning on. This ensure it’s never left on. It also notifies if it’s left one. I did this after a neighbors house blew up after someone left outdoor grill on while I was installing my outdoor gas kitchen/fireplace lines. I also have an outdoor smart waterfalls.
I like Kasa outdoor dimmable smart switch.
Man I would love to visit your house someday so I can burn all my cash on Lutron. I live in a N facing house in GY and I need to landscape my yard ASAP
Thanks for all the great videos. Do you know of any Alexa enabled remote pool thermometer?
That backyard is so beautiful
Anyone know options for a smart lock on a gate?
Not to mention you can use the tempest as a rain sensor on the rachio… Although rain sensor is probably not a nessecity in Arizona
Can't seem to find any led 6500k bulb compatible with Casseta wireless dimmers. Any suggestions?
What gate are you using for the doggy enclosure? I need something like that for my backyard. Thanks
Lol your little girl at the end. So cute. That's how my little girl is.
I live on the west side of Phoenix. Out by White Tanks. I love summer when monsoons come thru. Been watching your home automation videos of your house and saw quite a few things I would like to do to my house. Keep up the great videos.
Need a referral for the person that did your backyard. I’m in the Phoenix area
Good setup
Please Chris, what's your job? <3
wow that backyard is ugly. like a hospital or a parking lot
great video , love the lutron outdoor smart plug. But what caught my attention more was that fence you have there for luna. I have a small dog as well and am looking to create a space for him just like yours but i haven't found a fence that works for me , do you mind perhaps sharing were you got that fence, thanks in advance
i wish u were my neighbor, we have so much in common lol
I'm wondering, what exactly makes the lights so slow to turn on when you open a door? Is the Ring contact sensor that slow, does it have something to do with the fact that you use a transition on the porch lights, and the smart outlet switches on somewhere halfway, or was it by design? I've got Aqara contact sensors combined with Home Assistant, and that pretty much immediately turns on the connected lights.
