I think tmr fixes the ecosystem problems hall effect has since your not tied in to a specific subset of switches so the cheeper boards aren't as punishing that said I got the womier sk75 tmr on sale so I'm a tiny biased
I would love if you tested more split keyboards i have a Moonlander the thumb buttons are amazing, i would buy a Hall effect split with thumb buttons gaming keyboard. I bought a glasspad and a mouse because of your videos thank you.

Most of the rapid trigger features are already banned and considered cheating. And many games creating movement features against this rapid triggers.
If you're not a pro, a HE keyboard won't make you better even the slightest bit. If you're a pro and you play a game that's not banning this HE stuff right now – good for you, you can be about 1% quicker in like 0,5% of the situations. But don't get used to it, because developers are working on getting rid of this.
HE is a massiv overhype – espacially for not pro playing gamers that make up about 99,999% of the whole of gamers.
If you say HE is needed than 8k polling is too. And that's just dumb – sorry.

Some HE keyboard are also compatible with QMK software. Can you do a software test and give an assessment?

I've been using the corsair K70 Max, amazing full-size hall effects keyboard, and I am a big supporter of the corsair brand, and while I loved using ICUE, honestly really good software for customization, only problem is that it doesn't work on Linux like alot of these software atm.

i had bought the SteelSeries apex mini 9, nutshell ; its a mechanical keyboard. I was fooled by the name tag and understanding of it, and it was devasting for sure.
but I did make use of it, and the semi-actuation point decrease, made sense of how good it felt and responsive, so its a general first time experience to be fair.
after being glazed and tired of the crackling sound of the SteelSeries, i've later switched to Wooting, and sure its great at the price payed.
hall-effects won't make you any better, just gets you an advantage in various scenarios you play in different titles of a game. So don't just be justified by the RGB, beauty, and other factors.
HE withought a doubt made me better at Apex legends as well as COD in terms of advanced movement. Hate when these youtubers always spit out that misinformation, just because ''you'' dont fully utilize the keyboard and openly say you play bad on either doesnt mean it wont make others better overall.

For any keyboard enthusiast, don't buy a hall effect keyboard unless you are an avid gamer. They sound like crap and feel like crap with as good as no flex at all. Even TMR boards and TMR boards still sound bad if you place mechanical switches in them.

compact full keyboards are best like 98% or 96%… they don't take up taht much more room than those 80% ones – you can't beat physical keys
