Are you a fan of e-paper picture frames or is that last image at the very end of the video going to give you nightmares?
Somehow I just new that would show Paul at the end 🤣 we all know Mr Socky is the real brains of the operation though 😉
Reed, itss called dark mode for the love of bob.
For now folks, take your LCD picture frames / echo shows or whatever and… turn the brightness down. LOL. Not the same, but it helps.
Or may be buy a high quality photo printer with paper and print for life. Same results
Can Aura frame stand on the desk?
I want to see the HA integration,.ideally dashboard rotating updates , you'll save on batteries and look better and less waste than a tablet/led screen
I don't want to go down the Alexa /nest display
Harry potter poster effects…
great comparison between the 3, sad they are so expensive at the moment, because i could use 2 straight away. But a DVD recorder used to cost 100K in Australia when it first came out, now $10, So i just have to be patient
If a machine that only periodically rotates family photos costs this much, we should probably consider installing a miniature version of the scrolling bus stop ads in our homes.
I want a bigger 799$ frame.
I looked at these from Switchbot with interest. Of course, I'd want the 31" version, $700 maybe not. The I was thinking that a 32"/24" TV/monitor could easily be programmed to display whatever you wanted it to. Granted there would be a cord, but that could be solved. While you might find a ready made frame at IKEA, a custom one would be doable. I have used YouTube aquarium videos or the relaxing series on my large TVs just as background ambiance.
I clicked on another video as soon as I heard $500
300-500 bucks is just not worth it for displaying a lower quality picture.
can you show how this frame from switchbot integrates with HA? Is hub required to integrate with HA or it can be integrated over BT?
Cloud makes a product a non-starter
Using NFC to load an image each time you want to change it is pointless, you might as well just use a laser printer, and the quality will be just as good.
Im sure these will be cheap on temu next year
Cloud based? Start the countdown to e-waste…
No subscription? Start the countdown to, "Now you have to pay."
Holy fuck you should of started with the price.
Paul Hibbert catching strays 😂
sadly not my bag at that price but so cool inter-youtuber love being spread at the end 🙂
$500 is absolutely insane
No to cloud.
ai picture frame is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
The switchbot also seems like it’s meant for actual paintings, not digital photos of somebody’s family
