The sad part is that A.I. video COULD in theory be really cool. I have seen other channels and creators using it to make videos of "what could be" for movie trailers, or extra scenes from games or movies just to explore how things could have looked or turned out which is what I think this technology is best used for, imagining what could be. As long as you make it clear that's what you did, and don't try to pass it off as authentic "unreleased footage" or something.

Google/Youtube, should mark AI/deepfakes videos by adding some text in the thumbnail and in the corner when AI/deepfake faces appear, they just need to add the option to report false positives, the current system isn't good enough

they already are WAY further with it, watched 5 different clips from newer models and only 1 where i able to tell its AI, because there was a fingernail missing for half a sec…this is just too scary and getting out of hand WAY to fast in my opinion.
The lips are so out of sync or barely moving wtf. AI lip sync in games looks better than this.
AI is very close at fixing the obvious imperfections like mouth movement and some other stuff. But if they fix that… Then we are in trouble 😅

My dad is by far the least tech savvy person I know – he’s in fact extremely tech averse. Only uses it when he has to and hates every moment of it. He’s taken to forwarding every suspect email to me for assessment before he does anything with it and honestly that’s the best possible outcome for him, he’s much more cautious since falling for an iCloud storage scam (understandable since it coincided with his storage filling up and him getting the notifications, ive since added him to my family plan so that’s no longer an issue).
But I do really worry about the rise of AI content and scans because it’s fast getting to the point where people like my dad will not flag it as suspect at all and will not ask further questions of it and that deeply worries me.
After watching this video, it's one of the rare times I'm glad that AI isn't good with French yet… At least I won't have to search for that for… Another month maybe ?
