this video sounded way cooler when Linus talked about it on WAN few weeks back, it turned to just long add and watch showcase.
I'd get Huawei hardware if they didnt lock their bootloader so that I can sideload my own OS into it.
Huawei's in Taiwan?!
Do up your helmet properly dumdum
Probably should mention the fact that they were banned for UK government workers because of Chinese government backdoors in all their devices….
That was more interesting than I expected
Where is the video with Linus Torvald?
This is all CCP propoganda.
Never mind, it's time to be testing FSD supervised 14.2. Come on Linus. It's time for opinions
LTT in 6 months: “I bought a Motion Capture System off Facebook Marketplace for my Badminton Club” 😁
Putting Huawei anywhere, including your sponsorships, is dangerously naïve.
17:34 Ad for CCP
sponsored by WHO?
Uh. Steve nash is 6'3
Sports mode linus😂😂😂
@Linus PLEASE tighten that helm-strap… It sets a bad precedent for people watching your videos, and also, of course, it's mightly dangeous if you fall and the helm falls off. You did mention "I don't remember the last time I rode a bike".
we need the new best mouse keyboard review for enthusiasts and gamers ❤
As someone who was using huawei watch gt2, the main reason why I don't use it anymore is tedious setup process for newer Android phones. You need HMS Core, then Huawei Health, and it is draining battery faster, than, for example, amazfit helio strap. Not only that, but it can just decide to not connect to your new phone(as happened to me when I switched to Galaxy Ultra 23 back at the time).
And it is a shame given that Huawei and Garmin watches are the only "smart" watches that can reasonably be used by normal person as a watch and not just a gimmicky phone extension that you need to charge every night/every other night.
15:50 WHO has EVER (after the year 2000) asked for a thinner phone, no less a thinner foldable phone?!
Puff
So a new ad. Got it
I have no interest in touring the reanimated undead corpse of Nortel. In fact, I think I will be taking a pass on everything Huawei from now on.
I love the behind the scene looks of this. Just wished there was more attention to how they use these setups to improve their devices
I'd rather see no bike helmet than one with the strap on so obviously wrong. And I'd rather see the strap tightened down correctly than either of those other two. Things can go pretty wrong when you wear a bike helmet that wrongly, and it's really important that if you're trying to present good (or even good-ish) safety behavior that it actually be representative, instead of just performative.
I didn't realize that China was capable of producing something that wasn't a knockoff of somebody else.
+1 morbillion social credit 👍
(grab that bag while the clown is in white house)
the European village in China is absolutely wild
Bro the guy at 1:48 with the shirt that just says 'CHINA' is CRAZY
Honestly incredible perspective of the facility. I wasn’t aware how much they are pushing their technology!
Thjat Huaqei employee clearly enjoyed messing with Linus as much as his LMG employees do.
That "under water communication" is the feature which should come to apple watch ultra, that will be the best feature which will hook a lot of divers and swimmers to apple watch
it says big treadmill, looks like a normal size one 😮
I dont trust china
someone will be upset about "privashit"lol
15:25 i need that tv just playing the burger animation in my living room
中文?
@17:08 What? No Crab Rave ?
Thanks for the video
I used to work for a company called OptiTrack that is similar to the systems used in there and it's interesting to see the approach for how they build a skeleton. It's a very low marker count. I'm sure it's fine for their needs but I'm sure in other departments they run the full 50+ markers so they can test things like "lift to wake" and such because you're missing arm rotation in those skeletons you showed. Always excited to see mocap in any video lol.
Nerd sports s2?
Huawai is the enemy of the state.
Linus clearly has a lot of work to do in the form department if his running on the treadmill is any indication. 😅🏃♂
Is Linus going to put in a climbing wall etc at his badminton center, or is the prototype for Linustown?
As someone who’s visited the Nanshan Flagship Store, it’s great to see it featured here! Such a cool space to experience the full HUAWEI ecosystem
These facility tours are the only kind of sponsored video, that actually makes me think positively about the company. There’s some actual effort, instead of just sending in the watch, and some cash.
meanwhile in my country, Olympic athletes literally had to train for ice skating in a supermall with everyone around 😅
Didn't expect to see huawei in the video, but the sponsor!?
Linus is the only guy in the planet that talk taiwan is a country in wan show, not saying sorry, and not banned by the china, lmao…
