i just returned my semi glossy qd oled 280hz monitor because there was a loss in clarity in videos and games and also in motion, when i look to the secreen i don't see my face unlike my lg oled tv which is better in clarity, color and brightness, the brightness difference is insane that i would actually recommend either you get 2026 lg tvs if they got 240hz or more or you get true black glossy asus 280hz rgb tandem
You need to test a game that can consistently hit that refresh rate

Most gamers game at night time so light isn't always a total issue, that being said I'm quite intrigued by a matte coating. Still loving my Samsung G9 49" OLED. Still waiting for something to tempt me to something else.

personally… I'm tired of hdr… It's a blinding gimmick on 1000+ nit monitors… It reminds me of driving at night these days where everyone has their brights on… If you want more dynamic brightness when watching content.. turn the lights lower…

When did the videos I'd like to see you do is how to get around the setup of Windows 11 without running it without an email account cuz I'm not putting an email into this windows I don't trust the Microsoft servers they're using
And I'm somebody that always goes for the high-end stuff and that always comes at a price
And let me guess this monitor goes for like 2 to 3 Grand
And the only video cards on the market today that will be able to keep up with that monitor is the 24 g and the 32 gig video cards the lower ones won't be fast enough for this monitor
You know these monitors are fine and dandy but realistically these products are I enjoy it don't get me wrong but it's the price that you pay for this stuff that's ridiculous and I'm somebody that builds professional gaming computers for the fun of it to make a little bit of profit on the side I don't do videos or anything like you guys do but I do get my hands on a lot of products and test the s*** out of it a lot of stuff that they're releasing I'm not happy with

Went to currys looked at matte compared to glossy and I can say if your going to get a OLED monitor do not get a matte coating .

The MSI isn't cheaper! The one with DP2.1 is more expensive, the cheaper one uses DP1.4 same as this one, though it does have the USB-C port that the Samsung is missing…
The AOC 500hz is cheaper and that does use DP 2.1
I've been tempted to buy a new monitor recently. I'm wanting an OLED monitor, however whether I go for 1440p or 4k is what is getting me. I have a 9070XT and a 9800x3D – but not really sure if I would benefit from 4k. I can hit lovely FPS numbers in the latest titles at Ultra settings at 120fps+ on my current 1440p monitor – just wondering if I'm being tempted into a trap with 4k, a resolution that may not even give me better visuals than what I'd get at 1440p with the game settings at max.
Happy with my 6 year old pc combined with a 1080p 90 quid monitor for now

One of the biggest hardware failures of 2025. You can barely max out a 360hz monitor with a 5090 in 90% of the games if you aren't using some form of trickery like DLSS or setting most things to low. Even a 240hz monitor is a stretch in most games thanks to 0 optimization.
