If most ads are scams or even straight up malware, using and adblocker is an essential security step and doing the work the add servers don’t do (check that what they are serving is not malicious). Comparing that to piracy in any way is ridiculous imo

I have sorround for my PC. I thought it’s unnecessary, I just got it because it was a really good deal compared to my stereo choices when my old speakers broke.
But.
Surround sound for gaming is so, so good. Especially first person games. I‘d say among my High refresh rate OLED monitor this was the most impactful upgrade I did to my setup

Adblock isn’t piracy. It’s a privacy and security tool, and blocking ads doesn’t steal from creators—ads are placed by companies, not the creators. Even if a creator requests them, how the data is used is controlled by the company. Views still count, so any “lost revenue” is the company’s problem, not the user’s. A biased policy doesn’t change that: skipping an ad doesn’t mean skipping the content—blame the platform, not the viewer.

The only one I disagree with, is the Air Cooler vs AIO, unless you are on an open air test bench go AIO. Unless you have ducting, Air Coolers recirculate heated air in the case causing other components to run hotter for no good reason.
Probably not so much of a problem in a cold country like Canada, but here in Australia, every degree C not in the case is longer lived components.

I disagree with the AIO thing, I still have Corsair H70's that still work in daily use applications (one on a i5 2500k and one on a i7 930). That was the one that had the thick boi chode of a 120mm rad.

Regarding Gaming headset vs Mic and Headphones 7:34. You can definitely get decent quality IEM and microphone for less than 80 USD. I bought a Fifine T669 (With stand combo) and a KZ ZSN pro in that price combined. In my 3 year of usage my IEM failed and I bought a replacement for even less with comparable quality.

Ad Block is NOT piracy, if you don't want your content given out for free then don't put it on the free internet… put it behind a paywall, then when someone torrents your video you can complain about piracy like movies/tv shows. Meanwhile me and my 3080 finished painkiller rtx remix in 1080p dlss performance (32 inch 1440p monitor), portal rtx, doom2 rtx.. you cant tell me its not worth it, it just looks great.
Recently i started playing Cyberpunk again, using ultra rtx with ray reconstruction, 1440p dlss balanced, about 100 fps with fsr franegen. Absolutely great, if the game didnt crash every hour or so..

Adblocker is great for the old folks as it will block all scamming ads aswell. Also, internet was originally just internet. Some asshole decided to monetize it. Money money money money, nothing else going through the people's minds. "We do this to educate people as we want to make the world better place but not before you look at this ad again and again and again and again every 2 minutes and we get paid for that" Also "This game is 'free', you only need to forcefully watch an ad for 15 to 30 seconds after every 20 seconds you interact with the game" I don't know how harsh language you are allowed to use in the comments but believe me I'd be ripping right now. The whole world has become dependent on the digitalisation, the internet and computing technology which forces ads down our throats in order for us to use it. In Finland we have the right to deny physical advertisement to your home address, I haven't heard if you could do this anywhere else in the world. I got a sticker on my mailbox saying "EI MAINOKSIA" which means "NO ADVERTISEMENTS" and this does work effectively. Every 2nd or 3rd mailbox has this sticker on them here in Finland.
I've been gaming since I got my N64, and got into photography in high school, and I have always been annoyed by the shortcomings of lighting in every game no matter the graphical style. Until ray tracing, and now I can't imagine a future without it.
