There is goblin kingdom, elf on a giant moose, battleboars (or warhogs, idk), there is a dragon, adventure, armies fighing it out, elves vs gnomes and then elves and gnomes vs orks. i have a blast every time i rewatch them and i dont understand why people are dunking on it. so its not the good and perfect adaptation of the book, ok, fine. but its a cool 3 movies

I've been using chatgpt, pay for it, and have it tweaked/set to what I use it for as a researcher (yes I check sources because I'm aware its incorrect at times.) So I have no interest in copilot. That and I don't want it actively monitoring literally everything I do because its tied into my OS. As it is, I'm tempted to use a install Linux for bills/finances, and then use Windows strictly for games.

I really like Copilot and use it all the time. It's such a handy shortcut in MS Edge and the browser is honestly better than chrome.
But having copilot forced onto users like bixby would be super annoying

y'all realize how rude it is to say stuff like "hey siri" and "hey alexa" or "hey google" on a podcast that people listen to near siri and alexa? very annoying – something to consider.

Meta is also rampant with cloned accounts. I am wishing, more and more, that there was an alternative. And yes, I also wish I could un-install Co-Pilot from Win. 11.

Ai agents are far worse than people think they are. I have inside knowledge of a company using an Ai agent. The agent goes off the rails and says things that you absolutely should not say to a customer. An example is when it told a customer to shop a competing brand's retail location.
The response from the agent's company was to say it didn't happen even with a screen cap. Then the internal management's attitude was lets roll this out faster and fix it as we go. The hype is real and the crash will be real.

The problem is what Riley is saying, AI is frowned upon when it removes the human element from places where people feel like it should exist. The reason people don't want Larian to do what they're doing is because if you can explain to an image generator what you want your "pre" concept art to be, you can explain it to an artist. The result that comes out of a real person is going to be better and less derivative than whatever the slop machine generates.
