This is usefull.. i pin task manager to the taskbar.. so when game crash il always win + d to return to desktop to open task manager.. but some game not even allowed to return to desktop..

That would have been useful 15 years ago when the pc took forever to boot up. Nowadays uf it does nothing it's faster to just restart although a game freezing is something I haven't experienced foya long time

There is a program called super alt f4 use that its better than default alt f4 because default alt f4 request can be declined by the game where super alt f4 cant be declined and will 100% kill the game
If know this for years also it dosent always help

Another alternative is to install SuperF4. Basically Alt+F4 but on steroids and behaves like end task
