  2. important timestamp
1:05:51 luke did the 67 meme

  3. If the music is old enough that you can not buy it easily and legally anymore, then I can understand why "Pirating it" is the only option.
Eg. old song that is 40 yo and unfindable anywhere else ( the only reason I went near something sort of like napster in the MP3 days ). These days it may be extremely too old to find some 2025 songs.
Give me a way to buy a good copy that I can hold in my hand.

  4. its wild, this wanshow actualyl finished eysterday BEFORE i went to bed. i dont think ive ever seen that happen before

  5. 1:05:41 BROOOOO 😂😂😂

  6. Sooo, Riley dbrand rap when???

  7. I imagine the ram shortages are hurting not just gamers and pc builders but also small businesses of all kinds.

Id wouldn’t be surprised if the AI industry indirectly destroys tons of upstart companies and industries purely because they couldn’t afford the electronics they needed.

  8. i bought my ddr5 in september for $207 new zealand dollars, its now 699-817 new zealand dollars for the same 32gb kit predator vista ii

  9. I own a GSX-8S. It's an amazing bike.

  10. 1:45:39 In that hypothetical scenario the ads are writing themselves
“With the whole company crumbling, we had to take a gamble…. With our sponsor: ***”
“In this situation who would be betting on us, but you can bet with us and our sponsor…”

  11. They did kind of a bad job of explaining exactly what annas archive is. Its main thing is books and journals, which can be searched for and downloaded individually

  12. I'll be honest I don't really feel bad about pirating anything tbh I've never even thought about it

  13. Just my 2 cents about the whole pirating of it all.
I'm a long time bandcamp user, because of the fair cut they give their artists. Similarly I (reluctantly) subscribed to Tidal because of their somewhat less shitty deals with artists. I do not believe it's fair to deprive artists compensation for their art without their consent.
However, I do believe 3rd party archives could be a boon for (internet) culture. Too many times corporate greed or government overreach forces works of art from the face of the earth. Delisting political satire or a critical podcast from Spotify is akin to a bookban to me. Any underground mavericks preserving the culture against all odd have my support, whether online or offline.

  14. I had my first run in with a youtube hurdle I wont jump over today. I tried to watch an Electroboom video and was shut down by an age restriction. I'm a 50 something year old man, I don't think the entire internet needs any more details about me than they already have. I've had my google account for…I don't know…20 years or more. when I signed up age and birthday info were not required and I have so far not given it. The only way for me to watch that age restricted vid is if I give google the birth date I dont think they have any real need to have. So, no Electroboom vid for me I guess. I'll give it a week or so and get on a sailing vessel to look for it on the seas.

  15. The show has barely started and you're already flogging merch. A bit shameless.

  16. Remember apple ram upgrade prices? Mayve they were right

  17. I think AI kicked off a public righteous unuanced empathy toward starving artists. The idea of AI replacing artists is extreme a reason to boycott a product if AI is used at all anywhere even slightly in the creation process.

Vecause very suddenly all these people that have never cared about artist making a living and happily getting art for free, have made it their life's mission to make sure AI doesnt take over artists jobs.

So how it trickles down to spotify, its already well know that artists dont make money from spotify (was it taylor swift that made a big deal over it at some point?) So the idea that these music artists that arent making any money are, even worse, getting pirated… no, unacceptable!!

But they will fladly pirate from corporations producing tv shaws and movies and music that wasnt ripped from spotify… again, unuanced righteous warriors

  18. Byeee Luke😂

  19. Is buying used books piracy as well? Cause in the end the only one profiting is the seller 😅

  20. Piracy comes down to 3 things for me.
    1. Access, the thing im trying to get needs to be legaly avalible where i already am. Both geographicly and streaming sites. I have never had an issue finding music on either youtube or bandcamp or in meatspace if i wanted it. Espechialy anime is terrible with this, there are a few streaming sites that will buy the global broadcasting licences but are only avalible in north america.
    2. Access. I want to be able to own my media, i dont do it for everything yet but when (not if) the internet goes down or netflix desides that a specivic show is no longer allowed to exist.
    3. Access. it needs to be affordable. a movie ticket price to watch a compressed "4k" video at home? Hell no. Either let be buy it as a download or stream it but this halfway shit sucks.

  21. OUTDOOR BOYS!"!!!!!!

  22. Wish there was a YouTube setting that would just let you hide shorts. Yes I watch them, but I hate myself for it and would rather just have them now show up

  23. I will never use internet without an ad blocker. Never.

  24. Audio is really the easiest to pay money for, and it's one of the best money per time spent on it investment. You don't listen to a song or an album once, you listen to them hundreds of times. But, vice versa, you don't pay money for audio BEFORE you listen to it. The music stores understand this innately and just give you the music for free to try. Bandcamp will start pestering you to pay only after you listen to the same album too many times.

If TV shows were getting the same treatment by their streaming services, they would not be pirated either. In today's age people prefer to spend money only on the things they really like, and I think that is the best possible incentive structure to have. Bland reboots and sequels can go die from being pirated too much, I want only the actual good stuff to get rewarded.

  25. 55:30 the boys taking about buying/ reading playboy… lol🎉
