  8. Hello, does this apply to pro type ultra? It has a disappointingly ratling sound and the keys are so unreliable, especially the number pad – every stike produces two digits on the screen, a nightmare for any work with currency.

  10. Somebody knows if there are adapters for the spacebar stabilization ? i'm using corsair double shot pbt keycaps (cherry mx profile) on my huntsman V2 TKL and i'm stuck with the razer spacebar bcs i can't stabilize the corsair one :/

  11. Could you, theoretically, put just a bit of krytox on the switch stabilizer wires too? Maybe quiet them down a bit.

  12. Razer has already listened. If you bought the Huntsman Mini in the last couple of months or weeks, not too sure when the newest revision came out, they already added the dampening foam and the bandaid mod. Only disassemble it if you want to lube the switches, otherwise it's already all done.

  14. For some reason it seems like I didn’t remove the screws down the column of keys such as E,D,and, X and I don’t want to bend the metal cover the switches are on

  17. Can you pop out the switches of a Razer Huntsman Elite the same way? As in they are not soldered down to the board. I plan on replacing my purple switches with reds with these mods.

  27. If you’re ever going to buy this keyboard and don’t feel happy about it, remember to lube, add foam and mod it and it won’t ping. Trust me, after that it’s like a whole new keyboard! At first I was worried that I would break a stabilizer but after watching this guy doing it step-by-step, I was able to do it! This keyboard is amazing, especially modded!!

  28. I'm not re-lubing the switches. But I'm definitively doing the foam padding and the stabilizer lubing though. I almost didn't want to buy this because of the horrible sound. But I'm going for it anyways now that I know it can be fixed. Thanks!

  31. Dry or not, DO NOT put wd40 on your keys.

  33. why are you pressing so much harder practically smacking the keyboard during the stock test but normally during the modded test yes I can still notice the difference but you are exaggerating it by practically smacking the keyboard

  39. did this to my huntsman mini, for those who think they are going to mess it up, it's easier than it looks like don't worry. But before you use the wd40 i recommend trying it on only one switch and then test if you like it, i personally did and it feels smoother but some people might not, so try doing the wd40 step on only one switch you don't use that much and then do the others if you like it.
