You're my favorite monitor reviewer because your impressions are more off-the-cuff and honest than scripted. Also because you prefer glossy and you don't blow the ambient light aspect of QD-OLEDs out of proportion like everyone else does. I've had one for over a year and the "raised blacks/purple tint" thing has never been an issue in real world use as long as I don't have light source in front of the monitor (which I would never want anyway regardless of monitor/TV type). It's a non-issue even with a bright sunny window behind the monitor. In real world it looks nothing like it does in videos or pics in my experience.
Auf diesen Monitor hab ich gewartet, dieses Jahr werde ich mir den holen, sobald ich den in Deutschland bestellen kann, ich spiele seid 2017 auf einem 34"Uwqhd, IPS, 120hz, Curved, G-sync Pannel, was immer noch top ist, aber mir geht das edge bleeding und der Schwarzwert mittlerweile auf die Nüsse. Letzes Jahr war mein Setup dran, bis auf die GPU, die hab ich schon 2023 geupgradet, spiele mit ner 4080RTX OC und nem 9800x3d mit 2x 32GB DDR5 6000MTS cl28. Mir ist wichtig, das der Monitor mindestens G sync Compatible ist.

I understand for those with a high end pc already but as everyone is aware building a higher pc days have gone for the majority of us so buying a high end oled is also gone for atleast the next 2 years.

Cameras are sensitive to QD displays, making them more purple than what you can perceive with your eyes. It's not just reviewers using studio lights. The biggest thing to me is the true RGB subpixel structure from where you had to have a 4K QD monitor to get around the fringing.
Ya’ll YouTubers need to stop with the “360 Hz is pretty good”. You got the monitor for free. To most people 90, and maybe 240Hz is what is affordable, realistic and definitely enough. It’s great that you get to review cutting edge tech, but you have a responsibility to keep it honest and realistic.

I'm happy with the INNOCN 25M2S I got on sale $239 USD. 24.5" 1440p 240hz mini LED and with HDR 1000, finally not that HDR 400 crap. This one will probably be crazy expensive and overpriced, all I see in the PC industry and everywhere lately is pure greed. Too bad we can't torrent physical things 😁 Maybe in the future 🤔

I'm ready for 5K2K, but as someone who's been gaming on an Alienware AW3423DW since it's release. I fking love Ultrawide. Do you have to lower the refresh rate when you're running HDR? My AW3423DW requires me to put it on 120hz if I want to run in 10bit HDR mode.
I still have the Samsung G8 ultrawide and completely happy with it. The text never has bothered me at all because it's mainly a gaming monitor for that purpose it's still mind blowing every time I play a game. 1st gen QD LED is legit and the ultrawide immersion is unbeatable! Also 5070 Ti and 5080 is perfect for 3440x1440p no need for a 5090.
My question is, does this only apply to ultrawide monitors? or 1440p 27z monitors when they come out? I want to buy the xg27aqwmg this month. Shall I wait????

I don't like the gray stripe and MSI branding on the bottom. what I'm really looking for is an upgrade to my 3 lg ul 650's name brand does not matter much but as a creator working in 4k and wanting to game in my spare time, the wide monitor with a curve does not really work for me. what I would like to see is 2 4k monitors and can lock together on the sides to easily have a triple monitor setup that is flush. I don't know what no manufacturer has talked this issue, but plenty of people want to use more than one monitor on their desk and almost all GPU's have 3 display ports, so i don't know what monitor makers don't just go along with it, the stand on this monitor is a complete turn off to me as well I want to beagle to push the monitor back up against the wall as much as possible and take up as little desk space as possible this monitor stand is just to big an bulky. I don't know why they don't just include a more modular monitor arm then can click to a stand or mounted to a desk, I love my MSI motherboards but for monitors I'm partial to LG for their minimalistic design one more thing I didn't like about this was the odd screen resolution. if MSI makes a better monitor I may pick one up since I prefer to stay in the eco system but for now my planed upgrade is still set on LG. But I would love someone to change my mind with a better offering!

I avoid MSI because of how they treat customers who need to make a warranty claim. They make YOU pay for shipping and they may replace your product with one that has cosmetic damage. It seems their entire goal is to disincentivize the user from making a warranty claim. Don't get me wrong, they have some nice monitors (and this is surely one), but it is a gamble. If It breaks due to manufacturing defect, expect an expensive ordeal because shipping one of these monitors will not be cheap for you, and expect to get a product returned to you from whoever's house that may well have damage. They are other manufacturers out there that treat customers better.

Nice, I love it when they use a glossy finish. Really brings out the oled display. I can't wait for these next gen oleds though. I heard LG has a true RGB QD-oled coming out. Finally perfect text clarity.
