this or vr headset if the price is almost the same?
I want AR glasses that can screen mirror my laptop/tablet/phone and still look like regular glasses. Hopefully we get that in a year or two.
xreal 1s the new model can do real 3d that convert 2d to 3d but for gaming it can be only 30 hz only video media that it will run 120 hz on real 3d i am waiting that will this xreal r1 can do real 3d gaming convert to 120 hz which on paper it should be atleast 60hz
I actually can't stand watching you make these videos with none of the original cast. Sadly and with a lot of struggle I'm actually going to drop my sub. There is nothing here to watch anymore. Nothing new nothing unique, no cast. I'm out. GL Linus, peace after several years of watching. I'll never be back.
I cant even use VR for more than a minute without feeling some kind of sickness looming about
Honestly might be a good pick up for me, I've been doing trucking and whenever I have time to play video games I hook up my ps5 with my mobile monitor, but the only hard part for me is that the only available desk I have in my truck is pretty short and I have to hunch low and relax my arms on my legs on order to play the way I want.
i have been looking at XR glasses for mobile games and personal travel use. I was torn be tween the Viture Luma Pros and the Xreal XR1 pros. Almost pulled the trigger on the Viture Luma Pros plus 6dof neck band for $499 USD during the holidays, but couldn't justify the purchase at the moment. These look way better! i'll save many a more coin and purchase these when they release.
Team, can anyone test this with a samsung phone to run dex and see if that is a viable option for movies and/or light work?
My xreal air 2's fall in this category. I was hoping for more, but the picture at the edges is so bad you can't really use it as a monitor. For media consumption it's awesome though. My eyes don't gel with it for long times.
Together with the OLD beam (which was a horrible horrible media Player.. but has passthrough video with usb-c so enabled the follow and hold modes and size adjustment for any device with usb-c display output) it has been proven awesome with a steamdeck though .
Those times on a plane or while camping and everybody else is sleeping, it's awesome to conjur a nice image in the air.
I expected more from it , I'm not really happy with it… But once or twice a year it proves invaluable.
Can you guys do the Viture cyberpunk ar glasses next?
All I need a laptop that runs on i9 ultra and an rtx 5090 and this.
Am I the only one getting sick of the constant “for gamers” products?
Appreciate ASUS doing stuff for regular people!
p.s. tired of ai hype.
30-40 min ? who in the world can last that long :O
Woah, those glasses look cool 😎
Love this. These look amazing.
Support for multiple monitors?
Afterall can look around.
ROG XX….x
can it do multiple virtual monitors for pc gaming & multi tasking
But can you change he distance to the screen? If you want 171" at 4m instead of 5m.
Why is there an ROG logo on top of the video? I get that this is a sponsored video but last I checked this is still LTT channel and not ASUS’s advertisement branch. Also, the content isn’t really there for the main channel!
Would love to see these vs vitures.
I love looking at stuff i cant afford!
Does it have memory of any kind on it? Yes? Then it'll cost about the same as a car. Thanks AI!
wish they do this with vr headset
do you know how much weight you can cut from helmet to glasses ???
Too bad it's basically a spec read, we can't see the product in action…
What’s the difference between this and a VR headset?
Nreal/Xreal shelves at least one pair a year. And that's the end of their support for "the old ones". So these will be obsolete before you can buy them. Hopefully Asus will be able to continue the work. Early adopters be warned.
I love how Asus copies every corner of the market "This handheld has windows on its water blocked xr glasses"
"Massive" 57° view 😆
6:29 I hate it when people look at my glasses display through my game audio..
These actually seem like a great inbetween for VR and AR type of thing. Like it's not for VR but if you only use VR to watch videos / for a bigger screen these seem perfect !
Ok listen, controller, laptop and these glasses. Play games straight on the laptop while on the bus, train or plane
Don’t buy this shit people please just go outside
I PC game using my Q3 as a virtual display almost exclusively for the massive screen and immersion. Glasses less than 100g!? Awesome
It's a hard pass for me. My OLED monitor is still better.
