You didn't even bother to download the lastest firmware update, which fixes HDR and a lot of the things you mention.
This review just seems shallow and rushed, which will only earn you a dislike 👎

Got mine on Saturday last week it's amazing!
Got mine just last week but I feel I can’t tell the difference in Hz as well as HDR. While gaming I don’t stop and marvel at the inky blacks and high contrast really.
Glossy is way better than the matte finish.whats the point of having a matte coating if it ruins the colors and image quality

In F06 firmware version HDR Game is fixed. I have this monitor, very very good panel
Nice review, really hands-on for the average consumer. But did you update the firmware? This monitor ships with a buggy firmware and to get HDR to look right, you need to update it.
The coating on this screen is not great. It gives everything a film grain look..I returned it for a glossy panel which is much better as a result.
I’m still waiting for the xg27aqwmg to be available consistently here in Italy, I’ve seen it only 1 time listed as pre order on the asus site (for like 7/800€, so no thanks…) and now it’s simply not available anywhere since a couple weeks
