Today I finally check out some keyboards that I’ve had many people ask me to try. And to feed the YT algorithm I formatted it in a cheap vs. expensive challenge video!!! WOW! Who would win?! To be fair this actually has some merit to it as it shows the difference between the cheap vs. expensive gaming keyboards and whether or not the expensive ones are worth getting and or if the cheap ones are complete dogwater.

Anyway, thanks for reading my bio, if you’ve read all this I just want you to know that I love you. And also to visit diamondlobby.com to sign up to our mailing list!

  1. mogged lmao. all the love

  2. I wish massive profit margins weren't so normalised cause holy shit is that WAAAY too expensive for a keyboard

  3. I have been loving the new wooting keyboard

  4. I’ve got the iron MG68 Plus and it’s a great keyboard, but if I was to upgrade the switches what would u recommend? Cheers

  5. bought the MG68 MAX and have been using it since Christmas (a little less than a month). Honest opinions:

    – Definitely louder than a typical mechanical keyboard. Coming from a tofu60 with gateron milky yellow, these are louder in comparison. Maybe this is not fair since the gateron milky yellows are thocky and the switches in the MG68 MAX are clacky.
    – Software is not difficult to use. I know the video says that the wooting software is better (and I'm sure it is), that does not mean the irok software is bad. I found everything I need very quickly.
    – Very very responsive. I am sad that DiamondLobby did not actually cover keyboard latency and actuation distance, but it feels really good. I have a combination of SOCD, low actuation, and low reactuation which leads to an insanely better experience in overwatch compared to a standard mechanical keyboard.
    – The keycaps are thinner than high quality PBT keycaps. I ended up buying some double shot PBT keycaps and can confirm the sound has improved slightly (the aesthetics have too!).
    – Slighty software bug: Even when I am in wired mode, sometimes when I turn on the keyboard it has a red indicator light on the spacebar which is not possible to turn off. It turns off by itself within 2 minutes. This happens only after not using my computer for a few days and turning my computer back on. I'm assuming it has to do with the battery losing charge.

Honestly, for $75 USD (how much I paid for it before taxes), a hall-effect, hotswap, wireless (dongle and bluetooth), aluminum (full CNC aluminum), it's a great deal and I don't regret it.

There is a slightly cheaper version sold on amazon under "JOMKIZ IROCK" (yes, "IROK" is misspelled) keyboard. I'm not sure whether it is legit, but it looks to just be a rebranded MG68 MAX. The keycaps on the JOMKIZ look different, perhaps cheaper.

  6. how are you going to put a wooting in a comparison and not do a raw input performance test, this video just feels like anti-wooting propaganda lol

  7. But why is black Razer Huntsman v3 pro mini is expensive than white counterpart.

  8. bought a madlions 60he last early year, for 30$ no problems so far

  9. The eppomaker 68 he lite the best budget in my opinion only around 30 us ,great sound , perform good, software is ok

  10. Nice vid mate

  11. I’ve had the Irok MU68 (before the pro and ultra versions were available) for about a year now. Still going strong and have never felt the need to upgrade to a Wooting. Great budget HE board.

  12. holy its 325$ not 240??

  13. Sitting here with my Jet75 and thinking about buying another new cheap HE board..

  14. For me, the beauty of the Wooting is its software and backlighting (I was particularly interested in the split spacebar, but some Chinese keyboards already offer this configuration). Otherwise, you can buy any 60/68% magnetic or TMR keyboard for $30-40 and add an aluminum Holly case for about $30 more

  15. The second one of these clones get the split spacebar I’m buying it

  16. Imagine if these clones (Mchose Ace68) added analog input via software. Would be amazing!

  17. Neo65/Hex80 superior in every double way possible

  18. The wooting v2 is friction mount

  19. Can you do attack shark 68HE

  20. I got a mad60 a few days ago from Temu for very cheap with boardzy's code 20$ off and it feels very good. Sounds good, comfortable to type on, switches feel well lubed. Feels better than my monsgeek fun60. Using it as my main for now.

I also used an angle grinder to take off the strap hole on the left hand side because it was getting in my way.

  21. 5:23 that's just how the switches are. there's no solution for it. there's very few HE switches that don't have any rattly sounds. owlab ti he's don't have these noises

  22. Nah I’d win

  23. In case you missed it, Razer recently pulled a Logitech and dropped the Viper V3 SE. Basically Logitech's Superlight 2 SE. So same as Pro version but without 8K. Better than HyperSpeed too as no battery and they didn't sacrifice the sensor, switches or dpi count.

  24. im begging try a venom60he. wipes the floor with the wooting in everyway

  25. Please try the Fun60 Ultra. It's a Wooting killer for sure.

  26. mchose jet75 gang

  27. Bro doesn't know that the best budget magnetic keyboard is made in Russia and is called IO by Red Square Type 68. However, it is impossible to buy it because it is always sold out.

  28. very eager for a blade zeromouse review from you mr war

  29. I have the Womier SK75 TMR, paired with PINK mount tai switches. Its the best feeling and sounding keyboard I've ever used.

  30. That Mercury 68 can be bought for 140 Yuan(20 USD) from PinDuoDuo.

    Insane value.

  31. give these chinese companies like 5 months, They will have the same features like the wooting v2

  32. Is it just me or is actuation less than 1.0mm almost always a terrible idea.

  33. nice video

  34. Lol strap on

  35. I bought the fun60 pro on aliexpress for 25€ a few months ago i think its a best buy

  36. I'd always support the original innovators than the copycats/catch-ups

  37. 20$ mad68he is better?

  38. Thank you for your hard work, Mister best bald British mouse (and keyboard) gaming man

  39. 3 min is toe tickling

  40. 1 minute holy

  41. diamond can you make a review on the akko x monsgeek M1 V5 TMR?
