Can anyone compare it with Apple usb-c cable. A thick wire good for a monitor or heavy data transfer but for charging and maybe for some light data I would like something that thin, bendy and won't stress USB port. Apple usb-c that came with the iPad works so well in my car, charging my vacuum, my tablet and air pods. Or maybe I get a portable usb-c heater because why not have a 240w cable that can run a gaming laptop out of a cigarette lighter power adapter?

Cheers for making the old iPhone update a topic; never would have known about it otherwise, as I don't tend to check for updates on my family's old phones given, they are no longer supported.
Also, incase this somehow gets read by Linus (I doubt it), call the messages formerly known as 'Merch Messages' "WAN Packets." It'd be more clever than the other options that's been discussed on WAN.

Hey linus, a watch enthusiast here, for your use case i would definitely recommend a gshock watch. Digital screen, and they also make slimmer toned down versions that dont look like atomagachi on your wrist, these gshock watches are Bluetooth (to set date/time/timezone automatically), solar powered( or indoor rgb also works) and are highly bump and water resistant so you dont have to worry about jumping in your swimming pool( like the z fold) and dropping/scraping them at all, its just a funtional no frills everyday no care watch, ive personally daily-ed them from skidding across the pavement to swimming in the sea with the watch still surviving easily.

Recorded a POV of the phone getting scanned in a CT recently. Camera goes all grainy once the X-rays are turned on.

In fairness it’s other retailers do the starting at or up to. Everyone does it. It’s a marketing tactic and it works.
The cables capture a niche. Similarly priced cables do not have the same resilience or quality.
I bought an external SSD about a year ago, and the cable that came with it connects and disconnects in the middle of data transfer if the desk moves slightly. I bought this SSD from a major manufacturer. Your cable is going to be able to save me from having corrupted files on that drive.
