Might be a blessing, longer time gaps between upgrades. Maybe replace the 1990's DIMM modules and ATX motherboard design for new agreed platform designs?
We are witnessing the end of home PC builds. By next year we will be seeing cloud based gaming taking a massive jump forward. Hardware Unboxed is in denial and JaysTwoCents seems to be recycling the same post over and over just to keep going. A lot of Youtubers worried now I thionk.

June 2024 I designed my dream PC. i went with Corsair 96GB (24GBx4) DDR5 7,200/MT (running perfectly stable at 6,000MHz) Vengeance RGB RAM. And I bought an MSI GeForce 4080 RTX 16GB Super Slim X video card. I'm really glad I did when I did buy it. Prices today are ripping consumers off.
