This reminds me of the time that my dad had two laptops with LM, both suddenly broke. I cleaned the LM off, put some thermal paste on, and they came back to life. We were so lucky that the LM only spilled a little. And the funny thing is, that my mom was the one who put LM in the laptops.

Don'r risk with liquid terminator, not worth it. Better to use phase change instead.
You should check out @dellpartspeople – he HATES liquid metal, and says PTM7950 is basically as good while being infinitely safer to use.
My Acer Predator laptop has LM on the CPU, but whoever applied it put probably 10x the amount there should’ve been and also misaligned the foam pads keeping the LM in. After a few months of use, the LM leaked out, temps spiked, and I had to spend hours scraping oxidized aluminum off of both the CPU and the vapor chamber block. Applied normal thermal paste and it works just as well as it did out of the box. LM is seriously the biggest scam
