I got my gaming pc from Costco a year or so ago. 32GB ram and a NVIDIA 4060 for about $1,100. Looking back I think it was a steal
Ltt just isn't what it use to be
I would bring the PC back after realising the GPU VRAM issue
BROTHER DARREN DEYOUNG IS USED AT BEST BUY FOR DEMOS
"Which is exactly what it was designed to do" So true. We don't mind that businesses are making money, we mind deceptive business practices. I want companies to sell me their product by telling me why they think it's worth spending my money on it, not by misleading us, which is really just the younger cousin of scamming.

i bought an IbuyPower Gaming PC for my son like 5 years ago direct from the website, we
still use the PC today, still kicks ass, and it was 900$ for 16gbram ryzen 5600x and a XFX 8GB 6550xt and RGB <— lol WINNING
still running 2 gpus my old 1070 (in my wife rigs) and 3070 on my rig, both 8gb vram its enough for medium gaming.
i use the 3070 to run 2 screens at 2k Res one even on 144Hz, and my wife on fhd screen.
no major issues for me :).
You know you’re in North America when the component list says keyboard “ English only”
Fsr4? Should make the gameplay feel more smooth
For iBUYPOWER, if the system was boxed they have a QR code to scan and leads to the build's specs page on their site.
There's also a model number, that one is going to be something like SBA7R96XT01 or something which you can also just Google.
High Power is a pretty ok PSU OEM, I would say on par with CWT (Channel Well). And AGI is some Taiwanese company, I think it's just a gen 4 QLC DRAM-less NVME probably comparable to a WD Green NVME.
costco is goated, i got a legion 5i with rtx 5060, 32gb ram, intel i9 275hx, 2tb ssd, 240hz for 1500$
8gb vram lo..
20gb USB might as well be another 10gb since almost nothing uses that standard. The USB Forum should've given up on it by now.
Scouring for second hand deals? Easy to say when you live in a bustling tech area with 1000s of options all over facebook etc
1800 is criminal for that pc considering I spent 1500 on mine and it has a 5070
I just realized I bought mine before all the prices went up its worth 2k now XD
give away this pc pls
Was this perchance recorded in gp??
Make wire strippers that can cut bolts and then still cut wire.
my first pc was a prebuilt from ibuypower 2070 16gb ddr4 locked i7 chip with intel cpu fan. No idea what psu it has but its still running like a champ almost 10 years later! Also i upgraded the ram to 32gb got a liquid cooler for the cpu and added a 3070 later on and never had any bottleneck or power issues. great memories just recently retired it and it now lives with my mom to get used for checking emails like once every other month lol
calling cyberpunk at 70 fps "so playable" is batshit crazy, what has the world come to
I've been recommending my clients buy PCs from Costco for literally 20 years. I bought a laptop at Costco and brought it to PAX 2007 in Seattle.
you would be screwed if you were hoping to run local llm with 8 gb vram
I’ve found myself a prebuilt from a store that does costco return or open boxes near my house last week, intel ultra 5, 5060 and 32GB ddr5 2TBSSD for 1050$ cdn instead of 1600, i dont think they knew that there is a ram shortage but thanks for me finally got back a pc after 1 year on a laptop
If you are making cutters, make them tiny tin snips. they are what i consistently use for cable ties.
I ALWAYS RETURN MY CARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last summer we built a similar PC for a friend of mine but with 16GB RX9060XT and it runs CP2077 much, much better. It's actually a really good GPU and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
you bought whole pc for price of RAM
Adjusted Gross Income SSD… hmm.
My Costco has 5 different gaming PC models in stock right now, including one high end one, so your mileage may vary depending on which location you go to.
Friend of mine dealt with the same thing regarding missing info on GPU variant. I told him to keep it and swap in a better GPU as it was a decent starting point. But he was too pissed and returned it on principle lol. The good thing that came of it was he's now building his own. Which I advised him to do from the start.
Hey Linus I'm going to defend Costco on your comment of being deceptive. They did not hide the info for gpu. Had you viewed the retail box it would have been printed on the side of the box how much video ram was on gpu along with what is included inside retail box. Here in so cal we currently have amd 9800x3d GeForce rtx 5070 12gb, 32gb ram with io cooler at $1699. $200 off currently. From Thanksgiving until Xmas that same rig was $1499. Been watching you since you first started your YouTube channel. Keep us entertained with information. Spock out. LLAP
My god, Linus is so short standing next to the clerk 😭
I wonder how much time the LTT steam account has put into these games running benchmarking lol
I got a 4080 14700kf 32 gb ddr5 1200 power supply for $1291 open box when I got it home it was running slow and who ever purchased it might have returned it because it was running windows on the HDD instead of the SSD.
Totally not in Langley…
Imagine spending $1K on a computer in 2026 and only getting 20Gbps I/O. And not even any video passthrough on that. Thunderbolt 3 is from 2015 and 40Gbps…
While I’m trying to buy a cable your hoarding them all not cool
that faaah sound got me ngl
I recall buying a DaeWoo K6II AMD system at Price Club in Burnaby before Costco bought Priceline… this reminded me of that time… late 90’s
