Ten years ago, I decided to save some money and bought 27x 23-inch AOC i2367Fh IPS monitors. They were a little cheaper than the corresponding analogues from Samsung and LG. Four of the monitors I bought failed during the warranty period (matrix problems, ripples, pink color cast, etc.), and they were replaced under warranty with new Philips monitors (why Philips? Two brands are part of the same concern?). After the warranty expired, problems appeared in 5 more monitors. Draw your own conclusions, out of 27 pieces, a third failed. We have about 600 PCs in our company in total and this is the only case in the last 20 years when we have encountered a mass failure of equipment. I promised myself never to buy anything from the AOC brand again.
I will wait until 4k gets to this point. Currently have a set of high quality 4k IPS monitors and will only replace that with a set of high quality 4k OLED monitors.
Finally something good for gamers, now I can pair my fancy new OLED with my ancient GTX980 and 4770k (joke but still)
i love aoc monitors man
You're featuring and reviewing a product but not a single link to the product or full name so we can search it? Just a crappy video description… and ofc all links to ltt products
That keyboard sounds so annoying
Why didn't you put the resolution neither in the thumbnail or any info around the video?
I recently bought 4K QD-OLED AG276UZD for 650EUR inc. VAT.
Do you have any measurements for 60hz?
I just bought three G50SF before this video came out, I was disappointed they are no brighter than the 20 year old LCDs, but HDR games are brighter than regular apps and are bright enough I guess.
Affordable 300hz qhd display so u can check prices and supply on gfx and ram
Guys im from the uae and war is happening
Well… the prices are getting there, thats good. But everything you guys mentioned in the downsides are things i don't want in a monitor. I use it mostly in a bright room and this tint is disgusting + it's just not bright enough. I read on it much so fringing is super-uncool and I have 2 cats so it should be a little bit scratchresistant. I prefer MiniLED for monitors: 1000+ Nits VA is insanely good for PCs.
Does it have RAM though ?
2 GB data at 10$ !? 😂 In India I pay $4 for 410 GB for a month
Don't worry, RAM prices will balance out the total costs.
FOURTEEN member only videos in a row on your video feed by the way…
5:54 can u guys when u do these monitor comparisons where they are right next to one another can u put in text what the otherones are because there is no way to tell what the specs of the others are
Wish manufacturers offered an even cheaper option by leaving out the stand/USB hub/speakers (if any) that targets people who already own monitor arms.
I picked up the MSI all white X28 OLED not long ago for $440, and I absolutely love it.
lets have a look at some more pulsar gsync monitors please
normalize putting the product you are PROMOTING in the description. might help a little.
No mention about possible eye strain/pain?
Nice! But 4k 32" is where it's at! 👍🏻
Did the audio in the ad at the beginning and end sound terrible? Did they use the wrong mic? lol
For an OLED monitor that cheap, maybe I can forgive the poor HDR since response times are still fast and visually it still looks great, but button navigation in the big '26 is a big no-no for me. It's just exponentially more annoying to use. I'd rather pay a little bit more for tandem woled that is brighter and comes with a navigation knob
corning
Now you can get an oled monitor but you can't get RAM!
This HDR color volume issue affects other oled monitors from AOC. I submitted a support ticket to them like a year ago and they just said they'd look into it. So far, no firmware update to fix it. Seems weird since these are just Samsung QD-Oled panels which support much higher color volume. But this issue has been around for so long that I do not recommend one of these monitors if you use HDR. Great for SDR though, especially if you can get sub $400 price on a sale.
wow its the guy who owns a monitor!
12 links in the description and absolutely none of them are the monitor. Thanks. 🙏
oh nice can't wait to pair it with my $10k 5090 and $7k 64gb ram and $4k 4tb SSD
The same HDR color gamut issue is on several and possibly all AOC QD OLED models (like AG276QZD2), so it's pretty hard to recommend this over something like a 271/273QP X24 that often go around this price as well.
$750 in russia
"affordable"
Something to note HDR on windows 11 is flawed if you dont set it up in a really specific way that another youtuber whos name i cant remember it fixed alot of the issues you pointed out. Windows 11 failing us yet again.
Just wait till black friday for this year everyone. It might be tempting now because that is a pretty sweet price for oled, but these monitors will probably be 300 dollars or less by then.
OLED lose their brightness faster than IPS panels.
Genuine question, are OLED even optimal for long term usage? most of the screen care directions i read says not to keep it on for hours on end and to keep it to 4 hour sessions, hardly optimal for my use case and i would say the same for many out there, which is why companies implemented a proximity sensor to Black out the screen.
A good alternative would be mini-led or qd mini-led?
i have this exact monitor but dont have the hdmi setting option to change so im locked to 240hz
cutie oled
3 month salary for general public in here 🫠
Hope that change soon
Whats the usb b to a for?
So $420 for a display is affordable?
even if you did use it as a news monitor there are so many ads that you'll be fine
Whoever put that Mchose mouse on the setup knows what's up 😎
I need help I am looking for a 4k display and my budget is 600 dollars and I need it to be 120 hz also not Va but IPs and oled is fine
its like 5-600usd where i live :/
