How much money do I make reviewing gaming peripherals? Well you get to find out in this video! And it’s an oscar worthy production if I do say so myself! But it’s pretty grim, sure there’s other things I could do, like use optimum’s hand in my thumbnails to make it look better! Or I could put my face in them and photoshop Mr Breasts billion dollar smile on top of it! I could even just accept money from various brands for reviews and just say something like “oh btw they don’t tell me what to say in my video so it’s all good :)” But I’d rather STARVE TO DEATH than SELL MY SOUL TO THE CORPORATIONS!!!

The funny thing about YouTube reviews is when you critique and provide insights, you can get called as someone who only complains about things.
Then, on the other hand, if you say mostly good things and barely any critiques, you get called a sellout.

Unfortunately, the gaming peripheral niche probably one of the hardest to make any earnings with. My RPM is probably around $2 and completely demotivates me from trying anything like I used to. With honesty like this you'd make a terrible politician… Not sure there is a greater compliment than saying you're not like a politician other than to say i always enjoy your videos, they are informative but entertaining and funny at the same time. I think you'd do well in comedy either as a comic or writer or both, not sure if that is something you've ever considered? Anyway, i'm happy to support the channel, keep up the good work and all the best going forward!

It’s a sad world where the niche channels that actually review products instead of shilling them can’t even scratch the surface of their wages. UrAvgConsumer, MrWhosTheBoss, LinusTechTips, Unbox Therapy etc you can’t get an unsponsored video to save your life… that being said you should take a sponsored review for the products you actually really like and can back! (Unlike the others who shoe horn a robot vacuum in half their videos lol)
