  1. New wild growthmaxing algo unveiled at 17:15 :
    ✓ shaking babies
    ✓ kissing hands
    ✓ basically pounding the flesh

  2. All these Linux issues are super common, but the community tends to hate on anyone that is vocal about issues. This makes most people just suffer in silence or give up.

  3. I am using ubuntu 24 lts for work for 4 years now. Some things are really annoying. Especially business software is often so much more buggy when it's not dev tools.
Otherwise it it's fine for me. Sometimes there are some shenanigans with wayland but you can switch back to x11 for those cases.
But this is still way to complicated for normal users

  4. Neo, is fking shit, they can buy older Macbook at it will be better

  5. I don't know if I will finish this WAN show. Audio is really hard to listen to.

  6. Well Linus is cursed with Linux. I am using current pop os with cosmic on a current plattform amd and nvidia build without major issues, either while gaming or programming. Hdr missing is an issue and vrr is finicky, but that’s a problem on a lot of distros still.

  7. Cool guy Ben. If at any point of my life i'm in charge of organization security – threatlocker it is.

  8. 7:00 I don't care how good its display is and so on, if it has only 8GB non-upgradable ram, it does not worth $600, especially if it will not have MacOS

  9. A18 in a MacBook? 😂

So it's just an iPad with macOS and no touch screen then.

Apple do anything but let you install macOS on an iPad

  10. Confirmed…
    Linus Torvalds = Linux God
    Linus Sebastian = Linux Devil
    😂

  11. Finally you got some proper mic stands so we don't have to hear that annoying humming

  12. Peasant WAN show today folks😭😭😭

  13. There can only be one Linus, and I think he is the opposite of Linus Torvalds.

  14. that wide angle shot was a bad idea, especially your positions in the frame. Now your hands are the main object to look at.. not faces

  15. The reason why everybody is mad regarding Pop_OS! is that it's stale. You're not getting the up to date Linux experience,

  16. average lifespan I've seen with gaming laptops under 1000$ is like 2 years, at no fault of the end user, i think the macbook neo is a very safe bet

  17. one of the shorter wan show of lately.

  18. Linux ne like: It might be Linus Unix…. but not this Linus!

  19. For the labs website, i' m wondering if you can fight ai with ai, just let an ai write a bunch of junk (but make it extra bad) and make it invisible for human viewers but try to trick the scrapers into scraping it anyway. degrading their content.

  20. I know im wierd but i really hate apples trackpads. I have a mac book air as a second laptop at work and i just hate it. I have the feeling that i have to manhandle the trackpad in order to work for me xD

  21. I understand why RTINGS went paywall, I don't blame them, but I do blame them for their pricing! OMG way too much.

I use RTINGS in 2 ways:
    1) I tend to visit it every now and then when I get curious about something, but this is idle curiosity and I would do without rather than paying for this;
    2) every couple of years when I am intending to purchase something I'll visit the site heavily for a month, maybe 2, while deciding between various product options. But this isn't worth $10/month ($45/year) to me.

If it was $10-$15/year, no brainer, I'd sign up just for the convenience of just having it whenever I want to have a look, and what's $10-15$ dollars a year?

At something like $3-$5/month, I'd sign up for the month or 2 I need it for active purchase research and immediately cancel.

But $10/month or $45/year? Not even a hard decision to say not worth it to me, even for a single-month signup to research something specific and immediate, I can do without. That's not too much off YouTube Premium, and I get MUCH more value for money from YouTube Premium – I watch a dozen or so videos every day, and worth it just to avoid the adverts. Whereas RTINGS is a once in a while visit.

  22. i have my breaking point… and this it… linus is cursed

  23. My brother tried several Linux distros for his gaming computer (Cashy(?), Bazzite and something else) and all of them had issues he couldn't deal with (even with some Linux native games), so he went back to Windows.

I tried Ubuntu on a secondary computer, and after several corrupted file systems gave up and went back to Windows there (can't use Linux on my main PC even if it was good enough due to Anti-Cheat and compatibility for games / applications).

  24. pants are not black, will not buy
