everyone keeps saying to build your own pc cuz it's cheaper but I bought mine prebuilt 5 or 6 years ago for the same price they were selling just the graphics card at the time. I've never been able to not just find a prebuilt pc cheaper than the parts would have cost me.
Buying prebuilts for parts is always a good money saver even if you dont end up using some parts. Always good to have some on the back burner incase something breaks
What he doesn't mention is the 90 day no questions asked warranty that comes with any Costco purchase. Which for computers with a bunch of parts that can go wrong is a godsend.
Maxed out Cyperpunk (3440x1440p, RT disabled, no FSR) gives me 80-100 fps and only used ~8GB VRAM. I mean I got the 16G version but is the differences big?
It's annoying how a lot of these pre-built systems have an unnecessarily upgraded CPU paired with an underpowered GPU. Swapping the 9700X for 9600X and the 8GB GPU for the 16GB version would give better performance and keep the cost the same.
I bought my MSi Raider GE16 i9 with a 4070 from Costco about 2 years ago. Its sale price was $2,000 some odd. They had a discount of $700 off, so $1,300 something plus tax. With the warranty and extra coverage I paid I felt like it was a fair deal.
Moved the bulk of my ETH toward $XA20R. Profits remain extremely nice. Sadly I hold extra wealth stuck otherwise I shall push totally inside. Pumped regarding the $XA20R build!

playing 1275 dollars for a gaming pc and you can't play cyberpunk on medium/default at anything higher than 1080p?…at that point just buy a console and wait until the prices for computer parts crash in a year or 2, and then sell the console
Can I get pc man, just really need it for college any pc will do man.

I got my gaming laptop through Costco. Definitely worth it
It didn't state it was an 8GB!? Bruh, that would suck for someone who bought it expecting 16GB. LOL
My dumb ahhh thinking the hotdog had something to do with it
32 gigs of ram is crazy. Crazy how the standard went from 32 gigs quickly down to 16
Costco has always been a cheap code for a good computer, I've bought my last 1 from there, upgraded the ram, new SSD and it's a good machine

I literally just got a Costco membership to get a prebuild. I just changed the stock cooler fan since it was sus.

A bit before Christmas there was a crazy deal on the lenovo website for a pv with almost exactly the same performance for about 900 usd
thats 32 gigs of ram with a whole free computer as a bonus
My Aegis R2 came from there, so absolutely.
Got the 5080 with the 9900x system, no complaints, paid 2.3k USD

I would stay away from iBuyPower.
Buying the GPU without knowing it's an 8GB model is crazy.
My RAM is AGI and its legit
