Honestly with the lack of counter-space it might not be a bad idea to extend the kitchen into the dining room area and have it combined somehow which in my opinion is a lot more modern in how I've seen houses these days.

The oven needs to be replaced with one that does NOT have the knobs at the back. Why the hell is that a thing? reaching over the hot pots and pans to change the setting…..

There is asbestos in alot of places in the world. Not just in old houses
No dining room? What? Where do people eat? Ok we removed a wall so it is open to the living room but I really prefer a place/aare dedicated for meals etc and not eating on the couch or at a bar in the kitchen

NO ONE USES DINING ROOMS
Dining room i think is a valuable place for family. Everyone happily sits on sofas etc to have dinner or eat in different rooms.
Dining room and table brings everyone together, to eat and talk.
Can we watch the pros tear down the bad walls?
1) I use my dining room regularly. Don't skimp too hard.
2) induction stovetop plz. It's so great. Test it. You will be amazed.

Put the cabinets in the garage. LVP connections snap when you take them apart. Maybe show off a actually cool stove. Not like the newest Samsung garbage but like Impulse Labs or something.
The electrical is not a fire hazard how can it possibly burn down with all that asbestos

For resale you need a dining room for families. Even if they use the table 90% of the time for kids homework there are still special event meals that need a dining room. Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Anniversaries and other holidays. We use ours about 20-25 days a year.

Just started, maybe means asbestos is literally everywhere if you look hard enough. You can find the stuff in pretty much everything in some quantity.
When you think removing carpets it is an easy job and takes the whole day lol

As someone who has only ever lived in concrete houses I find it very interesting how houses are built in the US an Canada. Seem so much easier to change things around yet so much more maintenance to keep it running smoothly.
