if you do need a faraday bag, just use a motherboard static shielding bag (the kind with the black lines). put it in and roll the excess over. (source: my forensics professor a decade ago)

While most people do not need a faraday case and could probably get away with just using airplane mode, it is incredibly misleading to say that it provides the same security benefits. Again, most people should not need to worry about this, but there are valid use cases for faradays.
