Samsung M8 4k 10+ monitor display capabilities won't support hdr video streaming or hdr. I have had Samsung tech come to my home two times and was told my computer was the problem. The problem with that is my my computer is new , Lenovo I9 4K 14 " 3480×2600 resolution. I talked to Lenovo and also Microsoft about this issue. Both company linked with my computer and upgraded my drives. Still have the same problem. I have been trying very hard to understand why Samsung is stalling with me. I have contacted them 12 times and talked to management and was told they will get back to me in two week. They took pictures of the problem. I was also told that the M8 only supports windows 10 not windows 11. Wow !!!!!!!
Today, I called Samsung support about my monitor issue. I have been calling them well before October 3rd. Today they told me that the M8 doesn't support windows 11 only windows 10. They said I needed to wait for the next up-date to fix my issue.Wow!!!!! What a shocking revolution for an answer. The Monitor Is new, my computer is new and Samsung says something like this.
I am still waiting for answer on how to fix my issue. I want what they advertise about the monitor. I don't want a monitor that doesn't support HDR streaming. Anyone know how to fix this problem because Samsung sure doesn't have an answer.

Micro hdmi? Why not a full size?
Everyone interested in this monitor/tv, look around for deals. I got mine for CAD 549. I don't know how they did that, but glad I paid attention.
Very nice review, a quick question, does you keyboard n mouse still works for your hdmi connection computer?
I know this is an absurd solution to something that should have a small pivot point, but for that head room issue, could you get a cable to connect the camera and monitor and then rig a stand or small tripod of some type to reposition the angle?
Is this better than LG Ultrafine Display Ergo in terms of picture quality/display ? And can we install more apps in the smart TV mode ?

I might be dumb with my question but.. does it need a pc tower or it’s a full one like apple. When I was younger a monitor was only a screen lol. I’m still shook at how apple does their iMac.
You asked "switch to hdmi 1", and this has only usb c port!!

tbh, some of the adjusting height is not a dealbreaker for me, my desk is adjustable… the cost is what I like over Apple overpriced display. I have a remote on my iphone called remote pro and it's freakin awesome… I never need a remote even on my iMac.
I hate the sensor light sticking out on the corner, everything else looks good. I personally have had terrible luck with Samsung TV and Displays, so I wouldn't buy.
how would you ad speakers for at tv setup?
