Tunning vid please 🥺
Are prices really this high in the us or is this a bad build? I live in sweden were pc parts a generally high compared to the us but i am able to build a 9060 xt 16 gb build on the am4 platform with a ryzen 5 5600, 16 gb of ram (3200 mhz cl 16), 1 tb gen 4 nvme ssd and a 600w 80+ bronze c tier psu. Sure its a matx build with a pretty cheap b550 motherboard and a basic matx case but it will atleast have a fairly compentent upgrade path, nvme storage and a much faster gpu.
Riley could be my therapist 😂
Yes! Riley's back on main! Good video 👌 a great guide for building, especially as this is probably the price point for most peoples first actual build
Great video. As an experienced PC builder I still watched the whole thing. Solid advice all the way through, and cudo's for letting people know the places where they can expect to use a little more force. I still hate plugging the 24-pin in every damn time because I feel like I'm going to crack the board, but a power pin that is not properly seated can lead to serious probelms.
You should definitely do an overclocking video!! I have a x870e motherboard, an rx9060xt, with a 9800x3d CPU, and I just got a 1440p monitor recently and I wanna see if I can get some more performance after I know what I'm doing, I get about 175 fps average in Black ops 7 and I'm capped out in Rainbow 6 and Apex which is great but I want more and I definitely haven't undervolted my GPU or anything else too advanced cause I don't wanna change the wrong number and break something. I just have xmp enabled for my ram, pbo enabled, and I raised the cpu clock speed from 4.7 ghz to 5.2 ghz
It's a good thing you got a 240 hz monitor for this.
LMFAO, good work today indeed!!
but hey, things gonna be alright .. Yeah

Why b580 and not rx9060
Riley needs to present a serious video about how to build a trench coat gaming computer for mobile self mounted multi-player competitive gaming. It would be great to see him walking around Linus Town challenging people to a duel.
Cant play crimson desert . "Yet" 15:14
There's this guy, 'Chris' he also knows a good comeback story…
08:18 IO-Shield faces the wrong way.
Not the @sama case
Errata: 8:20 the IO shield is installed on the case, not the motherboard
Helll yaaaa
What about new ultra core 250k plus or 270k plus ? I thought it would be about those new cpus
Shilling has been shilled😂😂
Haven't bought it yet but considering doing my first build. Found a few (what I think are) good deals, I personally like AMD so I didn't wanna go the ARC route.
Microcenter has a few bundle deals pretty consistently. Right now they have a AMD Ryzen 7 5800XT w/ Wraith Prism Cooler, ASUS B550 Plus Prime AC-HES AM4 Motherboard, and G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM Kit for $319.
Added a Phantex XT Pro Ultra Case, ASRock Challenger Radeon RX7700XT 12Gb Graphics Card, and ASRock Pro Series 850G 80+ Gold Power Supply on Newegg for another $544.97
Ripping the 2Tb XPG m.2 out of my PS5 and I'd be set on memory. Logical Increments says I wouldn't need any adapters or anything either.
For a total of $863ish how do we feel in the comments about this build in 2026?
Thanks!

idk why i even watch these things, ive built thousands of machines as a system integrator. now that im looking at 5 years between upgrades im kind of out of the loop.

I already know how to build a PC but I am still watching… for Riley 🫂
You know things are bad when even LTT has to make the BUMMIEST set up ever with this constraints
Having riley is great, he is so charismatic, not like pluff, adam and david, they are hideous and un sufrible, more videos with Riley!
This PC would have cost around $600 5 years ago for this shit performance.
Wrong parts choice for very little savings. Namely the CPU motherboard ram.
Great guide, however I wanted to point out one important mis-step at 13:11 Riley installs the GPU with the case in a upright position. It's much easier, stabler and highly recommended to install the GPU with the case on it's side instead of standing up, with it in the upright position you risk damaging the delicate PCIe connector area on the card if it's inserted at the wrong angle.
Gonna use this as a reference guide
I think Riley has aged well.
love this
Great build! Can’t wait to see how Crimson Desert runs on this machine.
