  1. What a waste of time….

  2. where can I get that sick fire extinguisher drink bottle

  3. This is why ssd r expensive now

  4. Please Stop Buying the Wrong Jet Plane

  5. Just be grateful you can buy any memory

  6. I bought my Fanxiang 2tb ssd 2y ago for 60$, running strong…. 6200 mb/s read/write

  7. No benchmarks??

  8. I bought a SN7100 (just cost me a kidney) – and it works totally fine for me. I did not even notice it does not have DRAM, but to be fair, I ASSUMED that it had some. A bit disappointed that it does not have it…

  9. This is what a LTT video should be, bravo! Love it!

  10. Explains why my old Gen 3 Intel nvme that came out of a Celeron laptop runs faster than my Gen 4 WD that came included with my gaming laptop

  11. Cant afford SSD. Cant afford Jet. What im doing with my life.

  12. I had to create an excel sheet to research the SSDs listing all specifications in detail such as so I can buy the right one!
As a customer I should not be an engineer to buy a product but to read a clear specifications and trust the trademark.

  13. Sir none of us can even afford one

  14. 8:41 If you need to pivot then you're sitting too close. And as if don't cut to a shot of this supposed 'ultra-wide' headrest while talking about it. Great advertising.

  15. Okay nice rant. I agree that it should be clearly indicated. But you didn't show any testing. What is the point of saying it with words if you cant show the difference.

  16. Close to the bottom? My ssd's all are sata 300MB/s shit, but man i do need storage (fuck you cities skylines 2)

  17. Can you tell from the OS or an application (system info or something similar) if your SSD has DRAM?

  18. OK – will LTT have a list of drives with DRAM caches? Is there an app that would scan my SSDs and let me know? A link to the Tech Power Up page?

I saw the red "Linus" bottle and thought they had put a fire extinguisher next to you ! LOL

  19. This cache issue is a OS problem treating SSD as HDD, a properly optimized OS shoukd not have issues with this.

There still maybe some performance difference but should be negligible for a layman to notice.

I think its time to have a SATA replacement where instead of talking to ssd via pcie, why not create a dedicated tinterface that talks to NAND directly, ARM can already do this.

  20. Wait… WD is dead as disk manufacturer? :O When did this happen?
