I love the viper v4 pro, my only issue is that sometimes i feel like its a bit too long for my hands and I would've liked to see a bigger weight reduction to around 45g but still the best mouse ive used
logitech superstrike is a game changer, and don't care what anyone thinks including the OP cause its my opinion. i had both the superlight 2 and the v3 pro and kept going back to my superlight. and the battery comparison is bogus since you didnt even bother to mention the power play mat which gives me an infinite battery life. plus the shit like you mention which were the wheel and the skates are super easy mods to do. i changed the skates to moissanite ones on my super light and found an awesome built wheel that was also compatible with the superlight and swapped it out. Yes i might be biased but you cant compare both of these mice other than the hits because like you said its all preference and hand size.
Does anyone have some info on how to get the browser version of synapse working? Can't get it to recognize the mouse. Is there a setting in the browser that I've missed?
I had to RMA 3 VV3PRO because the battery would stop displaying it's percentage and wouldn't charge. Superstrike has no issues so far and it will be my main until Ninjustso makes a Sora with hits.

logitech just refuses to innovate and realistically improve where it counts.
if it wasnt for the fact i havent found a shape as good as the superlight i probably wouldve swapped a long time ago, tho ive never tried a viper so who knows its just too expensive as well

I think we can draw comparison of Logitech = Nvidia, Razor = AMD. Both fat cats but one still kinda listens to feedback, other one just dominates market and milks it dry.
Really hope that companies like VXE will solve this sooner than later.
p.s. used G PRO X for almost 7 years…changed side buttons twice (broke) and main switches (twice – first because of static buildup double click, second – upgrade to better switches)… still trying to figure out what was wrong with the mouse wheel 😀 at my skill level in FPS games it worked just fine 😛 e.g. can't say there is much difference vs VXE R1 PRO. What I miss is my infinite scroll-wheel with not only mouse 3 on it but also mouse 4 and 5 (side to side) from Logitech G500 which was epic for gaming…just the wheel.

could you give us an update after 6 to 12 months of using the viper, cuz i bought the deathadder v3 pro and it took only 6 months before the scroll wheel started glitching and not working properly, so im not confident the mouse will hold up very long and would like to know if thats the case before i spend another $160 on a mouse

Hoping hits come to a super strike dex version i returned the superstrike due to my grip style and pinky was hurting using it. I tried just using a different grip style but no thanks.
With all that said, Razer still holds the crown
tl;dr me personally egg shape isn't as good as the vipers, so viper wins (1-3-1 22-11cm)

i think you mad a grave mistake in your dot skate placement on the superstrike. i would at least place 3-4 in the front! that obviously lead to a flawed review of the vibrating potato. pls redo the whole testing and try again!
Ok so i have v3 and a few superlights. Shape is king and i am fucked in the head so i play 2 games with one then switch to the other. Its crazy how the superlight feels one with your hand so much that you almost lose grip after a while whereas the viper forces me to lock my hand to a very specific grip which stays consistent. Its so interesting to me they are so different. Claw grip here btw and the sensor placement makes a huge difference in feel

I got the new Zaopin Z11 pro egg mouse for $30 bucks. Excellent, if you like the egg shaped mouse, better than logitech, who refuse to lighten their 305 up. I have an ATK A9 pro for $27, so why WASTE $150 0n a new GPro? Big Ripoff. I hope you do a review of the Zaopin Z11 Pro when you another set of reviews of new Budget mice. Better than the Zaopin Z1 that you reviewed some time ago. Longer and better feet.
I use my g wolves htx mini that I bought second hand. Not gonna pay over a 100 bugs for a mouse. Thats plain out rubish. If I would buy something I would always go with an optical scroll wheel.

Price aside what’s your top 3 mice atm?
Im top100 ranked premier player in CS2 and was top250 in FACEIT and I bought both mice because of the HITS system and frame sync.
I was initially VERY disappointed with the Superstrike due to how slow and heavy the mouse felt compared to the Viper V4, which is around 12 grams lighter than the Superstrike. However, I ended up taking the stock skates off of the Superstrike and the mouse’s glide and weight feels MUCH lighter and it is a completely different experience entirely.
If you initially didn’t like the Superstrike like me, PLEASE SWITCH THE SKATES. It’s like using a completely different mouse entirely.

Razer uses forced motion sync. Logitech wins by default.
