  1. Ray, you stole the cables out of some guys charger for liqour money? That’s fhaaacccdd!

  2. there are so many chargers that you can plug in your own cable.

  3. Maybe I’m thinking about it the wrong way, but surely there is a case to have a double ended cable with your car (yes I get they’re bulky but I’m sure some clever storage on something like the inside of a boot/trunk lid or even in the frunk?

  4. ubiquity isn't doing anything about russia using their tech to bomb ukraine

  5. Delete me. I wonder how worthless my info is worth. Random th9ings all over the internet most of it fake.

  6. Crime costs the US a TRILLION dollars a year. Canada is probably only a tenth that or less.

  7. I'm missing some info here, why not show how this charger is managed in software?

  8. Kabel Optik

  9. Syamsul Alam

  10. I live in a third country, and you're gonna be robbed again. The more logical solution is that the station only has the connector, and the drivers of the car have the cable to charge their car. If you only replace the cable, you are gonna be targeted. You have to think like a thief to prevent to be rob

  11. Apa Yang Kau Pikir kan Tentang Huruf Untuk Pabrik Teknologi Apa Kamu Seorang IT

  12. sooooooo what's being done to harden them from being targets again? Can you put them in a steel locking cabinet? That would both hide them and make it more work to cut the cables

  13. Use 3 phase armoured cable and connect coax with some high voltage circuit to electrocute thieves

  14. Why don’t you call an oh Bryan the electrician 🤔

  15. i feel like you guys missed a big opportunity. free charging for the workers of LTT but do a setup where people pay to use the free chargers so you can make some $$$ on the side.

  16. Aaaaaand you still cannot change the cables

  17. yeah but can't anybody just clone the nfc cards?

  18. No one to blame but yourselves. You voted for this.

  19. No Brian the Electrician 🙁

  20. Any ways to stop them doing it again?

  21. I'm glad you guys are so concerned about the environment. Hopefully the EV charging will offset the private jet emissions.

  22. A couple of 205 Liter drums of Hydrochloric acid will fix the problem.

  23. EV vehicles are not cleaner nor do they save the planet it causes more damage to the planet then gas powered vehicles.

  24. Well nice Add, but this aint stopping cable thief's at all, so I hope Ubi are ready with sending next batch in a week.. Isn't there a charger that spool the cable inside and does not expose it by default, that would be more interesting ?

  25. Really? Was that safety message up for less than 2 seconds? I know the message seems like common sense, but if you're going to bother showing it, maybe don't cut away from it quite so quickly.

  26. I would have though you would go for a charger with a user replaceable cable in case it happens again.

Not that it is available in Canada but some one of the regional companies have ccs type 2 on both sides. So if they cut the cable, I can unlock the cable lock from the configuration app and plug in a new cable myself.

We have the little guy at home and the pro at work but most brands installed in Sweden have a removable cable.

Not that it is cheaper. Still 150-300$ for a new cable. But at least that doesn’t require calling an electrician.

  27. Do you guys live in Canada or some 3rd wolrd country ?

  28. Save the planet, nice private jet

  29. Should get ones that are live on the cable and switch in the plug 😉

  30. how about locked retractable cables? this doesn't deter copper thieves from striking again…. even install an alarm or something

  31. You want copper? Send them to the ai data centres, all sorts of goodies there.

  32. Should have just installed type 2 European chargers instead and provided each employee with a type 1 to type 2 cable to keep in the car like first gen European leafs came with

  33. possibly the worst ltt video of all time. Definitely the most boring

  34. At first glance, I thought the title said China stole our EV technology, which of course seemed like info that was a day late dollar short.. lol this was much better content

  35. didnt know ltt located it medan

  36. Make a high carpark and drop them from the roof after member card authentifaction.
