Awesome Tips They’ve officially lost the plot…

So Glorious and Steelseries just dropped 2 “new” gaming mice and they contribute absolutely nothing. They’re dated, they aren’t lightweight, they’re twice the price they should be, and they’re irrelevant in 2026.

Amazing Products Meet the MSI VERSA 300 WIRELESS 8K: a new era of wireless precision for competitive gamers | MSI

Comments

  1. Aerox 5 all the way for me…can't use any other mouse now..I'll miss the 'side' buttons..Ha!!

  2. This is why I've stopped buying gaming tech from these mainstream corporations. I used to love so many of them as a kid but in this economy and with better products coming from lesser known manufacturers at a fraction of the cost, there's no way I'd ever buy from them again ie. Logitech, Razer etc. I can still applaud them if they ever did do right by loyal customers but you know what they say, trust when lost is the hardest to regain.
    Thanks Frank.

  3. I'm actually still using my Glorious Model D (wired) from 2020, no issues with it at all. But if I was looking for a new mouse I'm going with a different company, but definitely not Razer, I went through many Razer DeathAdder's and everyone had the rubber side grips fall off, they are shit.

  4. I remember getting the Glorious Model O Wireless and it instantly having double click issues, which they refused to warranty.

On top of their "Custom Keyboard" model, which I had nothing but issues with that as well, their support team telling me it's "User error" when I built the keyboard live on stream with over 50% of the keys not working.

  5. are any of us surprised ????

  6. Just 2 companies preying on uninformed consumers and stealing their money. Hopefully people looking for a new mouse that are thinking about either of these sees your video!

  7. Glorious hasn't released a decent and not overpriced product since the OG GMMK Pro

  8. thanks for calling out glorious

  9. dude. thanks for calling this out. I won't ever be buying any of their products. That's some shady a$$ sh*t. I am not giving companies money to rip us off with.
Do a video of GOOD mice that don't cost $180…

  10. your mom has better mouses man
nah but foreal, logitech has lame products honestly.. mouse and keyboard are trash nowadays

  11. I'm so disappointed in my O2. I love the shape but even after software updates it doesn't hold a charge at all. I don't use my computer a ton, so if I let the mouse sleep for a couple of days it's dead when I come back. It's basically a wired mouse now and that was not what I freaking signed up for. So annoying!

  12. get em bro. get em all

  13. As an OG Glorious user from the Model O (2020) to the Model O- Wireless (2022) I was surprised they’re no longer in the top mouse rankings. After some research, it’s disappointing to see how far they’ve fallen. Currently I’m testing the Pulsar X2N Mini and Superlight 2C to see whats my new main gonna be.

  14. Glorious fell off so hard years ago,

  15. I'll stick to my pulsar mouse.

  16. i dont use any steelseries stuff outside of the headsets anymore but i still believe they make really good keyboards, mousepads, headsets aswell as gamebuds which i use sometimes too their audio stuff is great which youd expect consider who owns them, i think they are the best out of the major manufacturers (razer logi corsair) When it comes to those product lines so it baffles me that they keep sleeping on mice, the aerox 3 is such a good shape too but its just so far behind now.

  17. I can’t talk about SteelSeries as I’ve never used their mice, but the Glorious Model O and D Wireless was the company’s peak and they just went down a slope shortly after. I still remember looking for an ergonomic mouse that didn’t weigh +80 grams, but none really existed at the time. Glorious swoops in and spits in the faces of both Logitech and Razer by launching their Model D wireless for $80. I basically bought the mouse immediately and used it for a good couple of years until I could get my hands on the Deathadder V3 Pro and the Vaxee E1. They simply failed to keep up with the times and what made them stand out to the competition. It’s a shame really.

  18. bro I bought my Viper V3 Pro for $120 a couple of months after its launch… $110 for that SteelSeries?!

  19. Check out the SOLAKAKA SM600. It's only $27 and has a like a 500+ hour per charge battery. I was looking for a replacement for my old model O because the battery was so short, it was basically a wired mouse.

  20. 40 usd is too much for such a mouse, i mean come on bro you can get VXE R1 SE+ for 25 bucks, around 35-40 you can get the R1Pro….

  21. This is why Chinese mice are takin over… Mchose, attack shark , etc. .. Only real main stream mice left are EGG (OP1 v2 )or overpriced ones from Razer n Logitech.

  22. The mice market is so caca.

  23. Anyone know what keyboard or keyboard case Frank is using at 2:12?

  24. Steel Series went down the toilet a long time ago. Worst, most aggressive & rude support I've ever seen as well.

  25. SteelSeries needs to bring back the Rival 500… I wholeheartedly agree, they've lost the plot but they lost it years ago. Sad to say as it was my favorite peripheral company.

  26. I got the first model o years ago and even then it was terrible. Holes in the mouse but weighs like a brick and terrible squeaky build quality

  27. i remember ordering my first glorious model O…. i was so excited my 5$ contribution mattered. I was part of the new wave of gaming products that were good products for the price. How absolutely disappointing that glorious is where its at. I loved the company. even bought the Model D and was excited to see what the others were like. i miss what the company stood for. and how all of us gamers were getting super into it together. we need cohesion again

  28. As a current user of glorious peripherals (numpad+gmmk pro+model i) i have to say it is an absolute horrendeous experience. their software is awful. the newest one doesnt even support my numpad! and not to mention the amount of bugs.

  29. The glorious is $119, and the SteelSeries AeroX 3 Gen 2 is $149. WHY????

  30. Not including the new sensor in this Model O is insane. Who asked for this?

  31. I paid $60 for my BRAND NEW glorious model O when it first came out… and $48 shipped for my model O2.

$90 for something that I bought 6 years ago for $60, that is wild and makes me sad because I thought glorious would stay a good company but nope.

  32. "Not even 20k DPI".
Do we care about DPI? Who is playing on 20k?
    I set mine to 1800

  33. Sad to see 2 glorified and steel of heart mice has fallen of.

  34. Maining a second G502 Hero after my last one had 20K hours on it since 2019.

My secondary Glorious Model D Wired in Gloss Black with Tempered Glass skates never has felt better.

I think the mouse industry has finally plateaued at least for the next while.

  35. thnx a lot bro for this video people really needs to know about this so that they can learn and don't get cheated by any copany

  36. Last "unique" thing that came out of Glorious was Forge and more precisely the Viper Mini clone then they left it behind for years and that was it.

  37. I got a Steelseries Rival 3 a few years ago to try out. The scroll wheel skipped out of the box.

  38. I had a SteelSeries Aerox 5 wireless, and it was my favorite mouse I'd ever used. However, the scroll wheel sensor crapped out on me and the mouse was a nightmare to take apart for repairs. I ended up just buying a new one, and six months later I got the same scroll wheel issue.
Lesson learned, and now I'm giving the Logitech G502 X a try.

  39. Frank woke up and chose violence… and I’m all about it 😂

  40. The unfortunate thing is the normies are dazzled by RGB and simple marketing.

  41. The problem with those is they are trying to be unique without being unique…

  42. Glorious was just as shitty back in the day. Awful quality control, awful construction, and awful RMA processes. The only good thing they ever did was release the Glorious Panda switches for mechanical keyboards.
As for SteelSeries, they were goated during the CS 1.6 era and early CS:GO — one of the most reputable brands for gaming peripherals and mousepads, with a huge esports presence at the time through heavy sponsorships of top teams. Most notably, they fully sponsored Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP), one of the biggest Swedish powerhouses in CS history. It’s kinda sad seeing their fall from grace.

  43. steel series is trash in my opinion, but glorius with this release is much much more complicated, since hardware wise nothing about this mouse is "bad" and always comparing it to something else isnt always needed. I mained this mouse for a very long time before switching when i was younger, and it's a very safe shape and a good experiance, this doesnt mean there aren't better options (weren't) but its not as trash in some ways as ragingfrankp makes it out to be XD. Great video tho and ofc where i am now i would never even consider buying something like this for myself again.

  44. talking as an owner of both an Aerox 3 2020 and a RIval 3 : at least I'm happy to see straight streaks on the Gen 2's scroll wheel. The original had some kind of weird pattern which not only clogged up quickly but was also a NIGHTMARE to clean. At least here it's straight, so it's much easier.

But seriously, what Steelseries should have done from the begenning with the Aerox 3 line is to make a "lite" or "esport edition" of the mouse, removing the RGB entirely, removing that big ass diffuser that weighs 8g at the bottom… It would have made the battery last a lot longer (and if you really need some RGB for indicators or whatnot, take the RIval 3 Wireless' scroll wheel that has RGB in it), and it would have made the mouse around 60g. Still not amazing, but for around 90-100 bucks, I can get behind it, with a decent sensor, good switches and overall good polling rate, shape etc.

Right now the Gen 2 feels lazy af
