  2. If you can’t render 500fps what’s the point of having a 500hz monitor😂
Frame gen ok that’ll help but a monitor can only output what the input is and vice versa, 200 fps with a 120hz monitor, good luck with screen tear

  3. and for daily business use? excelword/ppt, I guess the curve is to much?

  4. Would be afraid to use a dynamic crosshair ingame lol.

  5. Lg c6 42inch is better

  6. I have a 32" 4K 240Hz QD-OLED and I've been wanting both an ultrawide but also higher refresh rate. I know 1440p ones exist, but I've never used one so I'm not sure how much the downgrade in pixel density will be bother me. Looks like it will be a while before an upgrade that ticks all the boxes comes along.

  7. the human eye can't even see more than 24 inches

  8. Is this monitor the best option for a PS5 PRO?? thinking about switching from a TV to a monitor, but not sure whats best to go with when it comes to a monitor

  9. The only new gaming monitor I'm going to purchase is the Asus ROG Swift PG27UCWM.
Asus showed it off at CES at the beginning of 2026 but here it is May 22, 2026 and they still willfully refuse to release it.
Lame !!!!!!! If I was an Asus stock holder I would be putting up the vote to fire the CEO of Asus.
Asus basically in a nut shell is willfully not allowing us to give them our money.
From a business stand point this is plain stupid. 🤓

  10. PG34WCDN.

  11. Thanks for your video, you always do a great job. I ordered this monitor over the weekend from Best Buy in the U.S. and I agree with you on all points. Great for productivity, I have three applications going (Email, MS Word, and a web browser) all large enough to easily use for my work at home office and amazing for gaming. I tried the previous generation Ultra Wide monitors and didn’t like them for three reasons, 1) image stretching would distort the images 2) 1440P … just looked terrible to me and I couldn’t look past it 3) motion sickness. I get motion sickness from several games and a curved monitor just exacerbates it so that games that I don’t have a problem with on a flat screen would make me sick on the older monitor. With this monitor because the curve more is subtle I have not noticed any of these issues for me so far. In fact one game that always makes me sick, Bioshock Infinity, is easier for me to tolerate on this LG.

It’s only been two days so I can’t say positively but I think it is a keeper. The clarity is excellent, the responsiveness is excellent, the size is perfect (good height, width and depth), the ports are perfect for me. I use my PC with a 9800X3D processor and a PNY 5080 OC with no issues and then plug my MacBook Pro into the USB C port where I connect to the monitor and charge my mac through that port. I can use the USB-A ports to plug a USB-A drive into the Mac as well

For me the only downsides are the price and the speakers (they suck for sure).

  12. Your point about a smaller cheaper faster monitor like the MSI MPG 341CQR sounds good – except here in Japan it costs ¥226,000 – it is the same price as the LG 39GX950B … so it really depends on the market. I am wondering about the LG 39GX950B for development work. How is the text on this monitor? I realise this is not the new striped array being used by Samsung panels, but I presume it is better than older generations?

  13. Too small, just can't downgrade from size 45"

  14. When I was building my PC setup in 2023 this is what I really wanted.

At the time the closest I could get was a 42 inch LG OLED C2. Set at the right distance it is absolutely amazing.

I don’t think I can go back down to a smaller screen size.

  15. Why cant they do the Dual mode 1600P instead or as well as 1080?

  16. Thats good to know that I will have to do upscaling on my 5080 😉

  17. Go to a store and experience this screen in person before buying. It's massive!!!!

  18. Can you do a video on your speaker set up for your PC?

  19. Is the dual screen you mention true dual screen or are you just resizing browsers which is what it looks like.

  20. People saying 165hz isn't enough with over 11 million pixels being rendered is insane… Especially when it can run at 330hz when 1080p. In games where you would want more than 164hz you're gonna be turning graphics down anyway, so what does 1080p matter.

  21. Why do companies feel they need to make the decision for us when it comes to lighting by dampening the image quality with matte finishes? Do they think we don't have blinds and that the sun doesn't move upon purchase? Not a fan of matte! If you can't sell both models, then the default should be glossy.

  22. Idk if my 5070ti can even drive this… Price aside

  23. what if we dont want ultrawide and want two monitors

  24. I have the 45” version and I absolutely love it! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

  26. I don’t think I’ll be buying an $1800 monitor no time soon! MSI 34 inch OLED 240 Hz at $750 is good enough!🙄😏

  27. 2+ monitors > 1 ultra wide for me personally.

  28. Waiting to see Alienware's version before buying anything; if the Alienware is glossy, it might be an instant purchase from me.

  29. This or LG C5 42?

  30. Probably is the best monitor until they bring out an OLED version of the Asus ROG Swift PG38UQ 4K 144Hz gaming monitor ― 38-inch 4K UHD 16:9 FLAT

  31. But they got a 45 inch version of this

  32. does a ps5 display in 4k when you plug it in?

  33. this is the one lads

  34. Gonna need to auto-hide that taskbar and icons dude

  35. Its matte slop theres nothing best about it.

  36. I have this same monitor but the 45”. Using a 5080 and love it. I assume it has the same tech as this one or is this one better being that it’s newer?

  37. The best OLED monitor until next year.

  38. Just bought the MSI 341CQR X36, think I'm fine, Ive traded resolution for frame rate.

  39. This monitor felt like a double edge sword for me.

In AAA modern titles with ray tracing and path tracing, 5K2K felt too demanding, even for my 4090. While I got playable FPS, I do value both image clarity and motion clarity.

In less demanding or older games, the 165hz then felt like a bottle neck. The 1080p dual mode also looked terrible to me so it wasn't worth the trade off.

Until we get a 240Hz version of this with a glossy panel and we get powerful enough hardware to support this resolution at higher framerates even in demanding titles, I'll hold off on 5K2K monitors.

In the meantime, I've settled on the ASUS PG34WCDN. Its not 4K class, but it does give me the balance of image and motion clarity that I want. Plus with the new RGB Stripe Pixel layout, I no longer need ultra high resolution to remove fringing.

  40. Other than in 2X mode, most gamers don't have and aren't soon going to buy the hardware to properly run this. A 34" display at 3440×1440 res is much more obtainable and just as immersive.

  41. Just needs a 240 hz version with a great BFI implementation

  42. Just got my 34" oled in December now this comes out lol

  43. So funny at the timing of this video, I ordered one today, been using a 38GL950G-B since 2019, been waiting for this monitor for ever

Hate glossy screens so that’s a result and I have never had a problem with 144hz, I guess my 4090 will be replaced with a 6090 when it’s released

  44. Will you also test GIGABYTE MO34WQC36 ?

  45. If i use this monitor on 27 inch its also going to get 165 4k or 360fps 4k ?

  46. If you wanted a smaller monitor compared to something like a OLED 49 inch it could be good but it seems way pricey right now.

  47. I think people under estimate the difference a high quality display can make to your set-up. True HDR is a game changer!
