Edge compute makes perfect sense. Balancing packaging, performance to cost ratio, and weatherproofing simultaneously is a big problem with traditional nodes. This solves more of them to a higher degree than ever before, but of course at a much higher cost per node. Great for custom applications where really no other options exist. And there are quite a few that I can think of.
