I'm looking forward to the new AI Siri. My dad struggles to use his phone, but having an LLM that can act as a middleman between him and a calendar or sending text messages would be a godsend. Having that contextual awareness of what he's asking beyond command keywords in the original siri…will save me a lot of headache hopefully.
if i were wealthy i would have two iphones, and make this new siri talk to another new siri like those videos from back then, too bad i am one of those afforementioned android poors, oh well, it builds character

The most exciting part about this event for me is that Siri will now look like a combination of iOS 17 and iOS 9 Siri with a touch of liquid glass. I really don’t like how the current Siri looks and how it’s just a glow around my screen.
It's really funny to me that they are talking about privacy and safety and than just aren't able to bring these features to the EU and nobody thinks twice about this. If you care about privacy than the fact if it's coming to the EU or not is a big indicator to how private your data actually is.

By no means am I attempting to spread or justify hatred. Course correction, however, is in order. Stop encouraging people to be prideful. It’s harmful to society and it’s the route to many evils.
