Yes, I can't disagree with anything said but you left out that it was originally ment to be around 700 to 800. Thank AI for that
I do think itβs very cool that itβs easy to play all the amazing steam games on a big screen TV now (I know there is probably another way)
Still not buying it. Hardware is absolute garbage for the price.
Valve didn't deliberately punch our wallets, it's all these damn AI data centers being backed by mega corps like Google, Meta, Nvidia, Microsoft, etc. We've literally lost manufacturing facilities and capabilities because many suppliers went to supporting data centers exclusively, thus leaving a vacuum in the gaming industry.
Buy a product for what it is now, not for what it promises to be later.
This thing is gonna be a steal 4 years from now when people are selling it used on fbook market for $400

VF6, another fighting game with similar concept to Tekken (i know Virtua Fighter came first but i'm not going to explain with all details on a youtube short comment) points to be more demandating in resources once it releases.
DOA7 looks similar to the new Ninja Gaiden 4 so if the machine runs NG4 well then it will not have problems with DOA7
thx to be direct on point 3 πππ
Blame AI
That 4K60FPS advertisement was as much big of a lie as the PS5 8K branding was.
I donβt understand my SD runs 60fps with fantastic quality on AAA games. Why are most ppl im seeing online have crap quality with 30fps?
How much did valve pay for this? π
This doesnβt feel worth a thousand dollars in my opinion
Yes 4k for the consoles and steam machine, isn't a thing. Or we will get a better fsr or a upscaling by steam (idk) or at max 1080p or 1440p minimum
UPSCALING FROM 720P TO 4K!!! Bro that should be illegal.
Who is buying this? I donβt see any market for this
